She came back. [Chapter 1]

[Edge's PoV]
[Location: Outside the WM ARC O.S. / The "space ship" , Planet: Pristine Peaks (It's summer time, and it's too hot for the Rabbids in this AU) , 4:25 AM]

"It's quiet, too quiet for my liking." I paused, with the feeling of being watched, "I feel like someone's watching me..." I said, looking around for anyone. "And everyone's sleep, just great." I stood up, and walked towards the door, "Sure sneaking out this late, I'd be scolded, but I'm an adult... Now." I said opening door just enough for me to get through. "Wait, did I forget something?" I asked myself, looking around. Turns out, I saw mist right outside. "Who?" I asked of what looked to be an outline of Midnite... And I was right, it was Midnite. And why is she back? "Oh, hi Edgey!" She said, with delight, she was happy to see me, but why? "It's just Edge, Midnite, nothing else." I said, giving her a bit of a death stare. "I know, but, why can't I call you that?~ Hm?~" She asked, with that goddamn flirting voice, "We're not dating anymore, Midnite! That's why!" I yelled in response, until she teleported right next to me, "What if we were dating again?" She asked, hugging onto me like a kid, I started to grab, and tug on my sword a bit. "Then I'd allow it, but-" I was cut off by Midnite kissing, I sorta melted into the kiss, I stopped grabbing and tugging on my sword, as to that was unexpected. I couldn't help myself, but to kiss her back.

It only lasted for about an minute or two, “Does that change your miiiind, Edgey?~” She asked me, dying for an answer “Mmm- What?- No!- I- Maybe, who knows...” I struggled to even say a few words, due to being caught off guard, “Really?” Midnite asked me, watching me trying to hide a sheepish smile, “Y-yeah, but that's a maybe.” I answered her, with complete honesty “But, on one condition... You cut contact with Daphne, and Bedrock.” I said , not trying to get a rematch, or kidnapped. “Okay, I'll cut contact with them, only just to be with you again, Edge!” Midnite said, with a smug “And that's a maybe.” I said, reminding her. “Can we go inside, it's cold.” she asked me, did she really stay on Pristine Peaks, after we defeated her? “Did you really stay here, after the battle, or whatever happened?” I asked her, and the answer was just a small nod from her, how cute. “Okay then, let's go inside...” I said, holding her close to me as I walked in, just to see Beep-O in shock, disbelief, and genuinely confused, “I can explain, Beep-O-” I was cut off by him, though I still holding Midnite close to me. “WHY WOULD YOU BRING A - A SPARK HUNTER HERE, EDGE!?” Beep-O scolded me, wanting answers from me.

“Beep-O, my friend, she came to me when I snuck out, turns out she wants to apparently become girlfriends again, so in order for her to become my girlfriend again, I told her to cut contact with Daphne, and Bedrock.” I explained to him, which Midnite nodded as confirming what I said.“Oh okay, but if she does touch ANY , AND I MEAN ANY SPARKS, she's out the door.” Beep-O said without hesitation to throw Midnite out of WM ARC O.S. if she touch a single spark “Okay...?” I said a bit confused, why he'd do that, “Now go back to your room Edge.” Beep-O said, hovering towards his charger “Aight.” I relayed, dragging Midnite to my room, placed her down on my bed, and started to pet her, once I got into the bed.

“Wow, Edge you seem to enjoy goth, and punk stuff” Midnite commented on my room, “Yeah, I don't blame myself.” I said as I stopped petting her, getting ready for bed. “After all, you did have a mist style in your room, back when Cursa was still here.” I said, reminding her of her old room when Cursa was still here, or basically 'alive' at the time. “Yeah, I guess your right...” Midnite replied to that, before looking away from me, hoping I wouldn't mention that bitch, Cursa for content, ever again. Why didn't she want me to say Cursa's name? Because, she hates her, after what happened at Cursa's old hideout (For context: [Some spoilers] Midnite and Bedrock were hit with Cursa's "arms" after not bringing her more sparks, and asked Edge not to bring her up on ANY circumstances. [In this AU] :/... ) “Oh, right.. Sorry shouldn't have brought the bitch up...” I said patting her back, before starting to ask her something “You okay now?” I asked her, only got a nod in response. “Imma doze off, you can join if you Midnite..” I said, pulling my hand away from her back, “Aight.” She said, still looking away from me. And that was all I heard when I dozed off.
