Chapter 3
Well, now you know the start of this story, but you don't know anything about me. So here's the introduction. My name was Samantha White. Now I'm told it's Zero. I was age 14. Now I'm told I'm immortal and ageless. I aced school easily and was called a prodigy, a miracle child. Now I'm told that's normal. Everything about me has been replaced. Even my birthmark is meant to be the symbol of an earth-bound angel. Or whatever I am. The angel that found me says she's called Maya and was my best friend. Somehow, I think she was more like a hanger-on sort.
Describe the most beautiful place on Earth. Add in cherry blossom, rolling rivers and pagodas and you've got heaven. It's meant to change to how you want it to look. I see it as traditional Japan. Maybe you'll see it as a tent burning. If you see that sort of image as good though, you'll probably not end up here. Just saying. Anyway, once we reached Heaven Maya dumped me on the grass and looked carefully around. She was so quiet now. I wondered why, but didn't say a word. Then she grabbed me, hoisted me up and flew again. I screamed.
When we landed again, I was still screaming. Then I suddenly stopped.

Maya's POV
Well, we made it to HQ. And she still doesn't remember me. What did He do to her? I mean, I know no-one sees Him and gets out the same, but this is pushing it. I thought going here would jog her memory but it hasn't. What did The Lord do to her?
