"Sarah, are you sure that you want to go to New York?" Dad asked
We were all getting ready to team up and travel back in time, which was crazy, but we had to give it a go.
Before I let my sadness show, I faced my dad and tried to look as bright as I could. "Yes, I'm sure. I mean, if Loki gets out of hand for some reason let me do it." I told him
He knew that Loki loved me and he also knew that I was devastated after his death, which probably did worry him because I was going back in time and I would see him.
"I know you miss him sweetheart, it's going to be difficult for you but remember that this is Loki in the past... not the one who loved you." He goes on
"I know dad. Let's get going." I nodded
We all said our goodbyes and we made it back in time to 2012.
My eyes widened in horror as I saw it on the floor and I hurried to it, hoping that I'd catch it before anyone else could.
"Loki! Don't do it." I begged and he just stared at me with empty, blue eyes. I wanted to tell him that I loved him but this wasn't my Loki and I did have a mission to do.
Loki didn't care about what I said and opened the portal and I jumped into it as I held onto his leg to stop him.
"What the hell are you doing here mortal, speak or I'll kill you." He tells me
I had to help Loki snap out of this because I realise we were on thanos ship and that meant he was to give it to him.
"I know this isn't you Loki!" I screamed as my eyes turned green and I grabbed my dagger from my pants.
"If you want to kill me then fine, the Loki I loved would never hurt me but you aren't him so I won't hold it against you." I told him
"Whatever you're planning it's not going to work mortal, you can't trick me." He says
"But this isn't a trick Loki, I carry a necklace with your face in it." I showed him
"This is a trick! I don't believe I would ever fall for a mortal." He says coldly
"You have to trust me, you can't give the tesseract to thanos." I pleaded
He pushed me off the ship so I teleport back to my dad on earth feeling defeated.
"Did you get it?" Dad asked
"No." I sighed
"We will have to go back further in time." He says
"Go ahead, I'll meet you back later." I said
"Okay kid." He nodded
I teleported to vormir with Natasha and Clint as I see them.
"Guys." I called out
"What are you doing here kid!" Nat asked me
"I'm here to help." I told her
"What you seek lies in front of you." A man says
"In order to take the stone you must lose that of which you love." He goes on
"An everlasting exchange." He smirks
"You mean a sacrifice?" I said in shock
"That's right." He nodded
