In the Tree of Life, there was born two lion cubs. Kaka and Shanti. Outside of the Tree, there was born three cheetah cubs. Duma, Cleo, and Anthony.
Kaka is destined to be the future king, while Shanti is denied to be the leader of the Night Pride. Kion and Rani are puzzled. This never happened before.
Little do they know the Lions of the Past have a different perspective in who will be the Leader of the Night Pride. A cheetah, not a lion. Not even Makini or Rafiki knows why.
All they know is that this will change everything.
