Ishaan stood outside the Kapoor Urban office. His heart was pounding with fear and guilt. He knew he had to confess the truth to Ram, but the receptionist refused to let him in.
he pleaded with her. His eyes were filled with desperation.
"Please, it's urgent Ma'am. I really need to speak with Mr. Ram Kapoor. It's a matter of great importance," he implored.
The receptionist hesitated for a moment, glancing at Ishaan's tear-streaked face and recognizing the genuine distress in his eyes. She picked up the phone and dialed Ram's PA, informing her about the young man waiting outside who insisted on meeting Ram Kapoor.
The PA in turn informed Ram, "Hello sir, there's a young man named Ishaan Bahl who wants to meet you right now"

"Ishaan Bahl? Okay, get him into my cabin immediately" Ram's curiosity was piqued and was taken aback by the unexpected meet but quickly composed himself, and he instructed his PA to bring Ishaan to his cabin.

Priya's steps quickened. She managed to catch an auto and instructed the driver to hurry towards Pihu's play school. Her thoughts were consumed with concern for Pihu. Tears welled up in her eyes, blurring her vision, and she silently prayed for her daughter's well-being.

"Yeh sab meri hi galti hai, mujhe laga subah Pihu roz ki tarah school na jaane ke nakhre kar rahi thi....mai hi nahi samajh paayi apni bacchi ko...usse kuch ho gya toh mai...." before she could complete her sentence, Priya broke into tears.
The journey to Pihu's school felt like an eternity. Her heart pounding with every passing second.
The auto screeched to a halt, and Priya rushed towards Pihu's teacher, desperately seeking answers.
her voice trembled as she asked, "Where is my daughter? Is she okay? Kya hua usse?"

The teacher, trying to calm Priya down, said, "Don't worry, two of our teachers have taken her to the nearby hospital. She had a high fever and was unconscious, so we thought it best to get her medical attention."

Priya thanked the teacher, and without wasting any time, she hurriedly made her way to the hospital. The fear in her eyes was evident as she approached the reception and took care of the necessary paperwork and payment. She anxiously spoke to the doctor,
"Doctor? Is my daughter fine? What has happened to her?", Her heart felt as though it would burst from the anxiety and worry.
"We are running tests to determine the cause of Pihu's unconsciousness." , The doctor assured Priya. Still, tears rolled down her cheeks when she saw Pihu lying weakly on the hospital bed.

Time seemed to drag on as Priya anxiously waited for the results. When the doctor finally revealed that it was a viral fever, brought on by the rain and mosquitoes, Priya let out a sigh of relief and her trembling shoulders relaxed slightly.

Few mins later,  Pihu stirred and opened her eyes. She looked around for her mother. Priya rushed to her side and embraced her gently. "Mumma yahin hain, my brave girl. Aapko kuch nahi hua hain" Priya whispered, her voice quivered with emotions. She enveloped her in a tight and relieving hug.

The doctor assured her, "She'll be fine with proper rest and medication. Just make sure she gets enough healthy food and takes her medicines on time. Also try to keep mosquitoes away and don't let her step out in rain"
Priya nodded.

Carrying her precious daughter in her arms, Priya made her way back home. She gently laid Pihu on the bed, tucking her into a thick blanket and ensuring her comfort before she headed out to the market to buy fresh vegetables, fruits and few medications for Pihu. Priya knew she had little money, but her love for Pihu pushed her to prioritize her daughter's well-being over her own needs.
Priya carefully settled Pihu on the bed. "Tumhe aaram karne ki zarurat hain beta, tabhi toh jaldi theek ho paougi, my sweetheart," Priya said softly, tucking Pihu in.
