                        Amaras Pov

He asked if anything was on my mind, i didnt wanna tell him what was really bothering me, i nodded but i didn't speak, i felt comfortable with him, and i didnt want him to worry but i also Had to follow through with the mission, As long as i have a good excuse for procrastinating, i won't get in trouble. I left the balcony without uttering a word, I shook any feelings I felt off and got back into my fathers limo. “Home, Hector.” I told the driver and rested my head on the seat with a sigh, I looked over to the balcony I was standing at with Reed, and butterflies fluttered in my stomach once again, No. I told myself, you have a mission. I shook my head, I wouldn't allow myself to fail this mission, not at all. Once I was dropped off home, I thanked Hector for the ride with a smile. I stepped inside my house and went straight to my dads office. . “So? How'd it go?” he asked as soon as I entered.  I smirked with a nod, but my gut felt guilty. “I was chosen.” I replied, he smiled satisfied. “Good girl.” he said and shooed me away to pack.

I headed out to my bedroom once again, Gavin sat at the edge of my bed as I dug through  my closet. “You're actually leaving?” he asks. I can feel my heart breaking, I looked over at him and the look on his face broke me. I sat next to my little brother. “Yeah I'm leaving..” I said, my voice cracked. “But I'll visit every single week. I promise.”
“Do you like him?” Gavin asked. “It's not about that.. Besides, it doesn't matter if I have to kill him…. But between you and me, I might.”  he nodded and before I knew it his arms were wrapped around me. “I love you, Amara,” he said. “I love you too, Gav.” I said quietly. I stood up and continued packing, we both knew if dad caught us being sentimental we'd get a lecture about how emotions are weak.

As Gavin left my bedroom we both gave each other our last look.

I finished packing and grabbed my car keys, to a car I never used until now, my suitcase dragging behind me. I decided to say  goodbyes to the people who actually treated me like I was somebody. I walked into my kitchen and hugged my dad’s Maid. “Goodbye Celia.. I love you.” I whispered against her shoulder, her head fell into my shoulder and her grip tightened, “I love you too, Kid.” she said, i patted her back and let go of her, she kissed my cheek and smiled sweetly as i walked away.
I made my way to the small house across the street, I knocked on the door, a few minutes passed and Hector opened the door, I swung my arms around him. “Bye, Hector, I'll miss getting rides from you.” i say. He looks me in the eyes and says “nonsense, sweet girl, you can always ask me for a ride whenever.” I smiled and squeezed him. “Thank you for everything.”
Hector was more of a dad to me than my own father was, and Celia like a mom. I owed them the world. I walked back to my car and started it. I headed in the direction of the castle, I gripped the steering wheel tight and sighed, a tear fell from my eye as I realized I'd be  in a whole different world from the people I loved. I pulled into the front of the castle, and got out. A guard drove my car to a reserved parking spot as I went inside for my first royal family dinner.
