love?

Mitsuri was in her estate feeding some cute cats she found on her way back when she heard someone knocking on her door.

She thought it was obanai since his the only one that visits her in unexpected times (which she doesn't mind cause she loves spending time with him).

"Hey iguro-sa.." mitsuri stopped mid sentence when she realized that this was not obanai, it was the last person she expected to visit her.

Giyuu was infront of her door, she had to blink twice to make sure she wasn't just hallucinating but he was real, 'tomioka is in my estate!!' she was excited since this is the first time he ever visited her.

"Ahhh tomioka-san I'm so sorry I thought you were iguro-san, please come in and make yourself comfortable I don't know if you need something but I am so glad that you visited me, I'll make some tea!!" Mitsuri said in one breath, she was panting and got embarrassed when she noticed that she spoke fastly and thought that the water hashira probably did not understand a word out of what she just said.

"Alright I'll sit on the couch until you're done making the tea, thank you for welcoming me inside your estate" he surprisingly understood all she said and went and sat on the couch, thinking about what his about to tell her and how to explain that weird feeling to her.

10 minutes later mitsuri came back with a plate that had two cups of tea and placed it on the table that's next to the couch and sat beside giyuu keeping some distance between them to not make him uncomfortable.

"So tomioka-san do you want to talk about something, I can see you're nervous just from the look on your face.." mitsuri asked while taking a sip of the tea she just made.

She has always been good at reading people's faces and can tell that there is something going on in his mind.

Giyuu was amazed by mitsuri and how she could tell that he needed something just from his face even when he tried to put on his usual cold face, he knew he chose the right person to talk to...

"Kanroji-san there's a weird feeling that I have..." He looked down disappointed at himself for the stupid explanation he just gave her, he was bad at communicating with people and he did not know how to put that stupid feeling in words..

'are you dumb what did you just tell her, she probably thinks I'm crazy now' he silently scolded himself.

"Eh...can you describe that feeling for me?" Mitsuri asked in hope that giyuu can at least give her one hint on what the feeling could be, she knew his lack of communication problems but she still needs some type of information to help her figure it out.

"I get this feeling from one person only, I don't think I've ever felt it towards anyone before even when that individual is not with me I still get that feeling and I keep thinking about the person...it's quite annoying and I wanna get rid of it" giyuu tried to explain, he knows that it's not the best description but he tried his best.

Mitsuri thought for a bit and then it hit her, could giyuu possibly be in love? Eek maybe he is in love! 'but I have to make sure of it first'

Giyuu looked at mitsuri and got a bit uncomfortable by the look she was giving him.

"Tomioka-san tell me, do you ever feel something in your stomach...something we can describe as feeling 'butterflies' dancing inside of your stomach?" Mitsuri smiled sweetly at the thought of giyuu being in love, she wonders who that person could be..

Giyuu nodded his head and replied "yes actually, I got that feeling when the person complimented me..." Giyuu blushed a bit thinking back at what sanemi had told him, which of course didn't go unnoticed by mitsuri and now she was sure that he was in love.

Soon her smile turned into a smirk and said "giyuu you're in love.." she can see his eyes widening after what she just said but she's still thinking 'who is he in love with, is it shinobu? No...they give off siblings energy'.

'me in love with sanemi? There's no way! Why would I love him...maybe mitsuri got it wrong there's no way I can be in love with him we're barely even friends!'

The room soon became silent and both of them were pondering...one thinking of who's the person that her friend could possibly be in love with and the other thinking about what the girl had just told him.

They didn't realize that someone was knocking on the door until it became louder, they both jumped from the sound and quickly went to answer the door.

There stood obanai on the door giving them suspicious looks since he'd never seen giyuu in kanroji's estate before.

Giyuu on the other hand was not surprised by obanai coming here, he knew that the latter was deeply in love with mitsuri so he decided to leave and give them some alone time.

That was one of the main reasons that he never visits the love hashira, he knew that obanai would be there 90 percent of time and the last thing he wanted is to be the third wheel.

"I'll be taking my leave now, thank you for your time kanroji-san"

"Of course, you should come here more often I really enjoyed your company tomioka-san!" Mitsuri smiled and giyuu gave her a small nod and left.

'it's already night time...I should head back to the butterfly estate, shinobu must be worried..'
