Chapter 12:The Gumbus

Hi so I am back sorry for not doing a chapter on this book I been finishing my other stories that I am done with but now I am ready to continue working on this story and I will tell you that this will be still slow updates. But anyway let get into the chapter bye!

"Hello? Is someone there?"

Mikey were in a pillow fort as he was watching a show

"ITS THE GUMBUS!!!"

Mikey screamed went under the covers. Then Leo, April and Aurora came in.

Leo: What'cha watching Miguel?

Mikey popped up from the fort And said Mikey: Ohmigosh Ohmigosh! I was just watching my favorite can stacking channel.

April:Can stacking. Okay.

Mikey:It's a thing. There's the one supermarket stock boy. He builds forts, towers, national monuments.

Leo:Yeah I see his channel has a like.

Mikey:I would like it twice if I could. Anyway he;s at the store after hours and..you gotta see it.

Stockboy:And now I shall complete the most difficult stack of all. Only completed by one other stockboy. The Lady Liberty Sta-[crash] Hello? Is someone there? as He flipped the camera around and a can scattered across the room. Then there was chain noise and the kid screamed before the camera glitched and there was a split second of a ghost showing. His flashlight fell to the ground and he wanted crawling forward. "ITS THE GUMBUS" as he screamed while being dragged away. Then his outro played. "Be sure to subscribe and donate!"

Aurora:What's a Gumbus?

Mikey: It's a ghost that haunts the Stock N Shop.

Leo: Pfft. There's gotta be a simple answer. Earthquakes, magnets, giant prankster mice. There's no such thing as ghosts.

Aurora: Leo's right I mean It's definitely faked. It's so edited so...

Mikey: What? How can you say there's no such thing as ghosts when there's no such a thing as us? The Gumbus is real!

April:Only one way to settle this heated debate. We head up to the Stock N Shop and tamper with the mysterious forces of the underworld.

(as She did a evil laugh Aurora just stared at her while Leo was thinking and as for Mikey he was scared.)

Mikey:I'm fine, Just getting the pants scared off of me and my pillow fort

Leo:Oh no. April's right. I'm gonna prove to you there's no such thing as a Gumbus.

Mikey: Leo, no I don't want to go.

April:Yeah! Ghost hunting!

It was nighttime in New York City, anyway Leo think that it's better if they went through a vent so they did through the vent. Leo falls, then Mikey, then Aurora , then April. April falls ontop of all of you. Then something falls ontop of Leo's face. Then Mikey weird machine thing falls in Leo's face. Aurora who was trying not to laugh.

Leo:Mikey why do you have that thing?

Mikey:To suck up the ghost. It's lined with tin foil to keep him in.

April:Guys check this out. This place is like Christmas morning for food.

Mikey:This place is creepy.

Aurora: Yeah no kidding.

April:Creepy or awesome! Answer. Boom.

There was a crash noise.
