Her father

She comes back that night, forgetting that she was supposed to go grocery shopping that day. Dad sent her with his card for a reason. she thought looking at the time she knew he'd be out till about 10 so will give her a little bit of time. to fix supper and then go grocery shopping. She made sure it was something she could throw in the oven and leave there. She left the house and went grocery shopping. Yes a little late and she came back hours before he did she had the groceries put away and the kitchen cleaned before he came home the living rooms were both done his laundry was finished and she was working on her own after she put his away, she made sure his boots were shined and cleaned for the next day, and even his breakfast was partially ready for the day after she went to make sure everything was done for this week minus getting supper ready she's already done her homework at school, even though it annoyed the heck out of the teachers they asked her why she did that there and she said she has no time to do it at the house. The teacher pressured her asked her why she decided to do it in her class she answered with. I have a lot of chores to do since my mother passed I'm taking on my chores and my mothers and before you say my dad needs to get a wife he needs to deal with his own grief first, so if you will please butt out I know I seem stressed and my grades probably show some of that but right now I'm more worried about getting this homework done so it's there to turn into you instead of not being done and me not getting any sleep at all the teacher backed off and told her I apologize for pushing she said I would appreciate it if you would please not give out very much homework anymore and pass that on to the rest of the teachers and the teacher said that she shouldn't be so sassy about it. She's about to be sent to the principals office. If she keeps it up, she said send her in so she did. She went up there and the principal asked why she was there. She simply put it the way she told the other teacher. She said I have a lot of homework and a lot of work to do at the house to balance. Both is next to impossible. so the way to actually get it done is to do it at school when I have free time. The teacher just came from did not appreciate that. The principal then said that you ask her not to give out homework. No, sir she said I asked her not to give out a lot of homework. He said understandable you may go onto your next class I'm not punishing you for this stupidity. it's lunchtime time to go home. She thought grabbed her friends. and drove them home Johnny was waiting on her again. This time he ran up to her door. She gently got down from her truck seat. He called her name. She looked up he leaned down. And before she knew it, his lips met hers. She forgetting that her father smelled it. Another male had touched her. Smiled into it and cuddled into him feeling safe for the first time in years, he raise his hand to touch her head. planning on brushing the hair that was blocking his view of her beautiful eyes. he offered to take her home that night. He told her they would be back at six she told him I can't do that. She left again kissed him on the cheek beforehand. she drove home to meet her father. He was extra mad that day. thankfully, though he only had his fists, which means it would hurt less. she walked in the door, took her boots off, took a shower, got dressed as she walked out of that cold bathroom. She felt a hand connect with her cheek, and I voice saying how dare you use all the hot water when she made sure he took a shower before she did, she defended herself saying no, sir I don't believe I did then he said how dare you talk back to me angry blue eyes looked at her the same blue eyes they used call her, his little baby girl and princess he started speaking Russian towards her things that normally she could only understand if she was angry but she understood part of it and what he said was nothing that could've fallen on a child's ears he told her there was no way that she was his child that her mother must've cheated that made her snap. She turned around slowly, her eyes, bright green, and looked at him, and in Russian said, what did you say he responded with I said your mother cheated there's every way you're her child, but there's no way you're mine. She went to her drawers, pulled out a slip of paper, one that she had made many copies of just in case something like this, happened she handed it to him. It was a DNA report, proving that she was his child, his own flesh and blood the last living piece of his wife that he loved so dearly she looked at him and said now you can't say I'm not your child he said this is probably fake. She asked him to go ahead and do another diagnostic. She will gladly offer DNA for this and so he did, and the results showed the same as that paper that she handed him still didn't stop the beatings. He beat her one night when she just got out of the shower just to make her go right back and clean up the blood as she went. He told her no one would want her. He told her she'd never be pretty enough. She never be skinny enough. Her mama left her two horses. those were her relief her dad thought at least of those things killed her. then he wouldn't have to explain the beatings. she ran with them all night. Sometimes she trained with them when she could she trained, sometimes until her muscles were sore. sometimes she was able to trick ride on them. Something she hadn't been able to do for years. not since her grandmother died. Her mother would've told her to keep doing what she loved, and not worry about anything else and mother would've also told her to run away with that boy, but she was pretty sure Johnny wasn't ready for that yet. and that would mean she'd have to stay there an extra year to make sure he would have enough. and to make sure she can get her mother's nest egg that she left. when she came in that night after finally getting one of the horses to understand that she's not going to hurt and finally trust her her father met her at the door with a pillow, her wondering what this new gift was about and what he wanted. He looked at her and said you're sleeping outside, I will allow you to get changed into your jammies, but that was about it so that night she slept outside nothing unusual it was quieter out here anyway she thought next thing she knew her giant great Pyrenees came and laid down and nudged her to lift her head and she did, she gave him her pillow in exchange her border collie came up next snuggled up next to her to make sure she stayed warm next was the Rottweiler curled up to her back then the Australian Shepherd laid at her feet finally one of them went and grabbed an old blanket and tried to get her to throw it on top of her she did they all laid around her that night. Her father came up there to make sure she had stayed there and not stayed in the house she was awoken by a growling sound from all of them around her. Suddenly, the whole pack was there. he tried to kick them before he could put his foot up. He tripped her little security system worked. He rolled all the way back down to the house and landed in the garage. He walked back in. His pride bruised by a little aluminum bat. She snuggled back in where she was and fell asleep. nothing dared to touch her that night. She went back to school that morning after a nice shower the teacher asked her why her hair was wet when she came in she told her she had to shower. She did a lot of chores before she came, and she was quite muddy teacher noticed a small scar on her arm asked her how she got it she said, I don't remember not even knowing that she had it. but she quickly walked to her seat. sat down next to her friends and started working.
