A few years down the road 

A few years down the road, she meets him again He's with an ex. Named Bella Bella never treated Johnny right, but she couldn't really help him. He's with her and she's not the type to interfere, but they were friends. He offered her that at least she had a scar on her arm from that night, but she never let him see it. Mind you she got a job three hours away from home, trying to save up to get her own place and eventually her own car just to get away from him. Finding out later that her father did go back on his word not really surprising to her, but still makes her very angry. They catch up for almost 3 hours, remembering she has work in the morning she tells him that she hast to go to bed and that she would like to meet up with him one day. They continue talking for a while catching up and eventually turned into best friends her trying her best to forget that she loves him Through everything moving on with a myriad of different guys or at least trying never letting them touch her the way they've been begging to she just doesn't feel the attraction for them that she feels for him so they don't last for very long. Eventually an old ex comes up forgetting exactly why they broke up. She got back with him for a while they only lasted two weeks, because she's finally remembered why he wanted nothing but her body out of the relationship and once he realized she was never gonna give him that he left. By then she's lost all contact with Johnny because Bella is jealous, scared that June will take him away again. A few more years roll by and they get in contact once more this time her grandfather has passed away and left her way to escape. She's found out he's moved to a different town in a different state not far from her but, far enough he asks her to come over. she has a paper due in the morning. She's in college trying to work to get her doctorate, but first she hast to get her basics out-of-the-way. she asked about his girlfriend thinking they might still be together. He tells her that him and Bella are done and, she comes up not wanting a second chance, but wanting to be close at least see his face and know that he's okay. When she finally sees him about 30 minutes later, it takes every ounce of control not to kiss him instead, he hugs her. An unexpected gesture, but nonetheless, she hugs him back. He asked her what she's been up to and she says she's been to college or she's still in college. Trying to work to get her doctorate. getting her basics done first he asked her what exactly she has planned tonight and she told him nothing. She could think of other than finishing a paper which is almost done. He asked her how many days she had left on it she told him I have at least three weeks left on this paper. I'm just trying to finish it up so I have more free time to do things around the house. He asks her if she's still living with her father. She responds with no. She has a house of her own. he asks her where she gives him the address off the top of her head no less which is unusual for her. She hasn't been able to remember it without looking at a piece of mail for the past three months.
