It wasn't that Seungmin was a rude person. Nor was he a cold one. That's more like their other friend. (They're both sweet though.)
Seungmin was just more closed off. He prefers silence more than anything. He believes there is power in silence. Because with silence, then will your words hold more value. And so when he speaks, everyone is always left in awe. His words held power as much as his silence did. And maybe that's what makes him the top student in their campus.
Don't be fooled by his silent demeanor though. He can be chaotic when he wants to. That's maybe how he got in his group of friends in the first place. Each one of them is chaotic, Seungmin being the one whom you'll never expect to belong with them. And that's why, even when being the most mischievous of the bunch, (yes, the most mischievous) he never got in trouble.
Trouble is not meant for him. It is more like trouble is meant for his friend Jisung — whom he can sense would do something stupid again, especially knowing he'll get drunk as hell seeing how his friend basically dashed out the car as they arrived at Chan's house.
Trouble is not meant for him. So there's no harm in going to a party just this once, right?
"Ayo! Seungmin is finally in the building!" And there goes Chan, the party host. Who is definitely wearing colorful clothes. Note the sarcasm.
"Hey..." Seungmin awkwardly greets as he glance at his friend's black shirt, black pants, black leather jacket, black boots, with a red scarf tied around his wrist.
Seungmin mentally scoffed. 'Colorful my ass!'
"See! I told you he's wearing colorful clothes!" Jisung giggled as he appeared holding a red solo cup.
"There's literally two colors Jisung. You need to have more colors to be able to categorize it as colorful." Chan only smiled fondly at Seungmin as he bombard their friend with his facts. A typical scenario in their group of friends.
"Yes! There is two! But- but! Two is more than one! There is more! See? Therefore it is colorful!" Jisung said counting two with his fingers as he passionately argued his stand.
"No, I mean... More than two you idiot!"
"But there isn't two colors here..." Jisung stated throwing his red cup to the side before approaching Chan as he grab a hold of his older friend's wrist.
"One... Two... Three! SEE?!" Jisung shouted wide-eyed pointing to the black clothing, to the scarf, and then to the miniscule white designs on the scarf on Chan's wrist, so tiny that you can barely see it.
"It's more than one AND TWO!"
"Okay okay! Yes Sungie hyung! Channie's wearing a lot more colors than usual. So we can now stop grabbing hyungie's wrist so we can finally go inside and party. Right?" Jeongin said as he finally arrived at the scene after having difficulty to find a parking spot.
"Why? Are you jealous?" The squirrel huffed as the three friends laugh.
"No." Jeongin answered making his boyfriend look at him. Not that he was bothered by it. Not at all. His boyfriend wasn't the jealous type but maybe, Chan wanted to see the younger be a little jealous.
"No?" Jisung pouted.
"No. But Lino hyung will be. If he sees you like that right now!" Jeongin snickered as his friend hurriedly removed himself from his boyfriend.
