Virtual World

Valdis booked a gaming pod for two hours along with a private room. Then she entered the pod and found that it was not an exaggeration but it felt like the real world. Here her image was displayed floating in the space. She can also feel that she is floating in space. Then Valdis saw there was a panel describing her stats and visuals. She can modify her looks by up to 10%. For the stats, there was no option to change it and it will just follow the values according to the real-life physical data after scanning.

 Valdis chose to create a guest account since she was only going to play for 2 hours. She named it after a random name 'Serenity'. She was pleasantly surprised to see that it was accepted. She was ready to take several tries it will take to create an account and she will have to choose several usernames. Then she entered the gaming world. This holographic game that Valdis chose is incredibly popular and has captivated millions. 

This game gives a completely immersive experience like no other. The holographic projection came alive when she started the game, creating a three-dimensional realm for the gaming area. After entering the game her sense of reality and virtual became blurred.  There were characters, landscapes, and objects around her with astonishing clarity and realism. Every detail from the textures of the environment to the subtle expressions of characters expressions are rendered with exquisite precision. 

Valdis started from a small village in the game. Since she just wanted to experience it and it was a guest account she started navigating. First, she chose a bus to travel to town and used some of her initial balance to pay the fare. When the bus started she was able to feel the rush of wind against her skin. This made exceeded her expectations. After reaching the town she saw that some NPCs and players were selling and buying things. This world was made to look like the real world and also had rules. NPCs in the game had real intelligence and it was not possible to distinguish between them, and players. 

The game was based on an intricate tapestry of exploration, strategy, and adrenaline-pumping action. This game offers a vast map to explore, filled with unique quests, challenges, and mysteries. All of these are very engaging and every moment is a thrilling journey that keeps players hooked for hours on end. But it was not just about gameplay. The game company was trying to create a completely virtual world inside. Here players were able to foster community and do social interactions. Players from around the globe can connect and collaborate, form alliances, compete, and even go on exploration together. 

Valdis felt the ambitions of the person behind creating this. Everything you cannot do in the real world due to limitations can be done in the virtual world. You can create your stores and sell them. You can go beyond boundaries to connect and personally meet each other. You can travel together just like in the real world and develop tourism. The opportunity of business is immense and Valdis felt that the person behind this should be a genius. She wanted to meet him.

Then Valdis went to the night market. In the game the time ratio between the outside world and the game world is different. So it was already night in the game world. In the night market, Valdis people set up various food stalls. She can even feel the aroma floating towards her from this food. Valdis couldn't help it and went to look for food. She ordered all small snacks so she could try more varieties and was stunned that she was able to taste the food so immersive. Just like she was eating in reality. 

Valdis used up all the money she had left on trying delicacies and then ended the game. Valdis only realized that it was already 2 hours after she came out of the gaming pod. Then she left the mall and went to the car in the parking lot where her driver was waiting for her. 

{A/N:- I started writing this novel because I was not able to find any new novels to my taste and old ones I have already read. But now I feel that I might not be so good at writing. This novel kind of looks boring from its views and votes. So, I am planning on uploading 1 more chapter and dropping this novel. Not sure I might continue writing either. And yes I am planning on uploading new novels in the future.}
