"What do you want ?" I said irritated as fucking ever asked my annoying little brother Carter. I was finally in my room sitting down on my couch. All day i have been running around the block shaking up a few stupid ass teens who owed me some money, i am tired and annoyed with anyone from the age 16-19. My brother was 17 a upcoming senior and a pain in the ass.
"Chres let me in i can help."
"No" i simply said. There is no way in hell i would ever let my little brother get into a business this dangerous.
"Come on. You look like you need some help and i can do it-"
"No ! I already put you in enough danger as it is and im NOT letting you join understood ?"
"No im not understanding. I offering to help you and you wont let me !"
"You can get killed Carter thats all you need to understand !"
"But i wont"
"You wanna help ?"
He nodded his head and i sighed standing up opening the door for him.
"You can help by taking yo lil ass to school and graduating on time !"
He smacked his lips and walked out the door. Not before i smacked him on the back of the head though. I closed the door and went to sit back down on the couch. I groaned as there was ANOTHER knock on the door.
"Who ever it is go the fuck away im fucking tired !"
I put my arm over my eyes and sighed as the door opened and closed.
"So you to tired to acknowledge your girlfriend oh ok santo"
I hopped up and smile picking her up. She laughed as i swung her around. I put her down and kissed her soft lips. Aurryana Lowe was my girlfriend, the most loving, craziest, ride or die girlfriend iv ever had.
"So i hear you've had a rough day today"
"Yea stupid ass teens"
"Why didnt you call me ! We could have done it together"
"I didnt wanna bother you, you were out with your family" she shrugged and wrapped her arms around my neck. I put my hands on her waist and pecked her lips.
"Next time call me or imma fuck you up santo"
"You cant beat me though. What yo lil ass need to worry about is getting into that college you wanna go to"
She sighed and let me go. I rose one eyebrow and i looked at her.
"Santo i got accepted into the college i want"
I smiled. And hugged her. I know im all hard and stuff in the streets but i'll always encourage my girlfriend to chase her dreams.
"Thats great so why arent you happy and celebrating ?"
"its University of Oxford.... In London"
My smile dropped. I was happy for her but London. Why so far away from her home, family, me.
"Are you gonna go ?"
"I don't know that's the only school iv heard from so far. Im waiting on the rest"
"If you go when are you going ?"
"September 3rd and i start September 5th"
I nodded and sat down. We've been together for 4 years. Since i was 17 im 21. She was with me through everything from my dad dieing through the charges held against me for murder and even family court to get custody of my brother.
"Dont think about it to much we have almost 2 months until i go but my mom needs me to help her cook so i'll call you later"
She pecked my lips and then my cheek.
"I love you"
"I love you to" was all i said before she left. I stood up and sighed looking out the window watching her walk to the car i bought her. She waved at me and i waved back. I smiled as she got in the car and drove off. After the car was completely out of sight i look across the street seeing a U Haul truck.
"Who the hell moving on my block" i thought. This neighborhood was actually very very nice looking. I had a 2 story house with a nice size basement and back yard. Paid for it all by myself. I looked across the street seeing two people smiling at each other a girl and a boy. The boy was tall brown skin and skinny. The girl had a lot of brown curly hair and a nice shape from the back. I chuckled at myself and went downstairs seeing Carter watching TV. I looked at him and smirked.
"Oh lord what you finna do"
"WE'RE gonna go meet the new neighbors across the street tomorrow"
