I took a deep breathe as the song paused. I didn't know it but i liked the vibe of it and i really listened to the words. Space was indeed a word only used when people were afraid to get close or feel for something. I got up from the couch and went to check on Jacob who had still had the song on pause.
"Why did you pause it ?" I asked curious as he stared at the wall.
"I don't know i just felt like it i guess." He smiled a bit.
"Jacob-" i started before i was interrupted
"Im afraid you'll leave me. You barely look at me or even touch me since you found out what i was doing." He looked down at his feet. I sighed and sat beside him.
"Im not going to leave you Jacob. I want to help you, not kick you down some more." I said lifting his face up by his chin.
"It's been 4 days and i feel like im going crazy Chres, i don't e-eat i can't sleep without having a n-nightmare and i feel dizzy almost all the time." He stuttered before letting a tear slip down his cheek.
"You're not going crazy ok we just have to take things one step at a time and get your eating habits and sleeping back on track. It'll take some time but you'll get better." I rubbed his cheek wiping his tear. He got up and walked tot he other side of the room.
"That's what everyone said. They'd help me through my depression but they all left me for dead. I guess i got too close, and i don't want to go through the same thing with you. I want to get close to you but i just don't know."

"You wont go through the same thing, i swear to you Jacob, im right here and imma stay right here until you get better." I swore. I was being completely honest, i didn't want to see someone i cared about fall apart.
"People say things they don't mean all the time." He sniffed. I stood up and walked closer to him as he stepped back. I grabbed his hand and pulled him closer to me.
"Im not one of those people. You can trust me Jacob, i wont leave you." I assured him. He nodded and i wiped his tears with my thumb. I lifted his face so i could see his beautiful brown eyes and pecked his lips. I was beyond sure that i wasn't going anywhere.

"Lay with me ?" He asked. I smiled and nodded. He got in the bed and i got in right behind him, we were face to face. He didn't look the same but the look in his eyes will never change to me. Even though he was fucked up i knew that the old Jacob was still there somewhere and i would do anything to get him back to me.

This was just a lil glimpse of how things are going between them. I put the song close in there because it kind of describes what they're going through. They both want each other but their connection is getting lost due to Jacob inability to get close to Chresanto. Jacob's afraid to get close. Also cause this is one of my favorite songs
