The card reader exclaimed. "Oh." Akito looked down to try and find his name. "Aoyagi Toya.." He whispered.

Okay, I know I'm hot, but isn't this overkill? Toya had been staring at him for over ten minutes. He would look back at him, but not only would that embarrass the blue haired boy, but also make it awkward for Akito. He decided to just bite the bullet and hope he would stop staring. He was starting to make him feel nervous.

I finish my coffee and walk over to him. "Hi, Shinonome.?" He turned around, looking quite startled. I wonder why. "How... do you know my name..?" he asks and squints.
"I got a hint from your name tag." I smile and tilt my hear to the right a bit. He looks down.

"Damn it," Akito whispers. "Yeah, that's why I don't like wearing my name tag.. so, what did you need anyway?"I look at him, slowly panicking. Why did I think this would work out? "W-Well, I was kind of wanting to ask for your number.." His gaze shifts to the floor. Akito just stood, blinking at him. "So that's..." "Huh?" Toya blurts, visibly confused. "Oh, I was just wondering why you were staring at me. That's why!" He smiles, but he doesn't look very happy.

"Look, man, I'm sorry. I'm not into guys.." Akito says. (REAL CONVINCING)

This is where the backup plan comes in. You act like you never meant it romantically in the first place. "I meant to be friends." He laughs and smiles.
