“Well, Saiko had asked if anyone hide anybody in mind for marriage” Luke started and continued “Meggy and Tari got confused, apparently they weren’t told about the need to marry for the peace between the kingdoms till now, they took it well” he paused to give his father time to process what he said. “Meggy and Tari weren't informed about the need to marry till now?” His father asked. “Yeah” Luke replied. His father thought for a moment before telling him to continue.

Luke continued to tell him about what happened in the meeting. His father was happy to Hear that Saiko and Tari are together. When his father heard what Meggy had pointed out, saying that one of them would be single or marry someone else, he wasn't surprised, but was glad that his son had a chance to get out of potentially having an arranged marriage. “I don't blame Meggy if she wants to be the one to be the single one, I mean the only options she would have are me or James” Luke said.

His father grew a bit concerned at the thought that he would have arranged a marriage with Henry's Son if Meggy was the one to be single. “I don't want her to be forced to marry James, and i don't want to marry her because she's like a little sister to me” Luke stated. “What are you planning to do?” hir Father asked with slight concern. “I'm not planning on doing anything, yet” Luke said, starting to sound serious. “You're not planning to marry Henry's son, are you?” His father said with concern starting to grow in his voice as he spoke.

“I'm going to let the next 2 years play out and if Meggy ends up liking James, then i will get to be the single one, but if nothing changes between them, i give you permission to arrange the marriage between me and James” Luke says while getting up and walking to the door hiding his face in the process. “Son, you can't be serious about this” his father said, starting to sound desperate for his son to be the single one instead of his friend. “I am, and before you tell me, i have thought it threw” Luke stated, pausing at the door with his hand on the door knob. “Son, please reconsider” his father asked, desperate for Luke to rethink his decision.

“Dad, I've made my decision, and I'm not going to rethink it. I want my friend to feel free to be independent or love who she wants without it being forced,” Luke said, his voice starting to sound shaky. He opened the door and left the room. His father was left in silence, he didn't want Luke to marry the son of a bastard like Henry.

Luke closed the door behind him, tears started to form in the corner of his eyes. He started to walk to his room to prevent anyone seeing him start to cry. Mario noticed Luke heading to his room with his head down. Luke entered and closed the door to his room. As he laid in his bed slowly crying he heard a knock on the door. “Who is it?” Luke asked, trying not to sound like he was crying. “Why do you sound like you're crying?” Mario asked, sounding muffled because of the door. “I'm not crying, I'm just…letting my eyes dump out water” Luke replied, sounding less sad.

Mario opened the door and closed it behind him. “thats the same thing, so tell Mario why you're sad” he said trying to cheer up his bestie(homie? Bro? idk). Luke sighs and explains what happened. “So, you're crying because you're most likely going to marry prince James?” Mario asked, Luke nodded his head while he was face first into his pillow still crying. “And you're scared of what could happen with him?” Mario asked, and got the same response. “I'm sure he won't do anything bad” Mario said, trying to reassure him it would be ok.

James walks into his castle, he said hi and hello to the guards and thanked them for their services. He headed towards his fathers room. On his way there he saw his sister and her personal guard. “Good afternoon prince James” she says bowing down in respect. “M, I told you, you can just call me James, and you don't need to bow” he said, wanting her to treat him like a normal person. “I do it out of respect, James” she said in a respectable tone.
