Repo Mantis Pt. 1

Y/n POV

I got a text message from Mikey saying that him and Donnie were heading to Repo Mantis Junkyard and asked if I could come so I grabbed my Omi Yari and my backpack and met them there. Once I got there I was searching for the two mutant turtles until I heard a shout from above. "Y/N up here!" I looked up and saw them two on top of a stack of cars ready to look through the inside of the trunk of the car up top. Donnie was oblivious, looking like he was in heaven while Mikey was calling me up.

"Hey Mikey so um why did you guys invite me?" I asked, Mikey responded with " Oh Donnie thought it would be a great time to ask yo-" He was cut off by Donnie putting over Mikey's mouth saying "Oh what Mikey was trying to say was we thought you would like to come with us and search for cool things."

"Hmm Okay but if I see something cool or cute to me I'm keeping it." I said raising my left hand for him to shake on it. "Deal." He said with a wide smile and lit up eyes. He let go of Mikey and looked back through the trunk. "

Man, junkyards are gold mines!" Mikey looked at it with confusion while Donnie was grabbing stuff with his gadget arms from his battle shell. He grabbed a pineapple air freshener smelling it and said "Who needs real pineapples, when you have one of these babies?" I looked to my right and saw a car being lifted up by a big magnet and nudged Mikey about it. He looked and was stunned for a bit until he tried to get Donnie who was oblivious looking at fuzzy dice.

Mikey yelled his name and pointed to the car about to be dropped. Until Mikey grabbed Donnie and me and jumped off landing in another car.

Mikey landed in the passenger seat, Donnie in the Driver's and me in the middle. I groaned in pain while Donnie was lecturing Mikey about warning him. "Mikey, next time I would appreciate a heads-up." Mikey responded saying "Okay. Heads up!" Shouting pointing at the rear view mirror. We all looked and saw a weird car being towed? Mikey gasped saying "Is that..." Donnie gasped as well saying "It is!" "What is it?" They both looked at me weirdly like I grew two heads saying "That is the Jupiter Jim Moon Buggy!" Mikey said excitedly Donnie then went on saying "Featured in not one or two but, but sixty sequels of Jupiter Jim Last Trip to the Moon!"

"Oh that movie series, yeah I remember you guys showed me a couple." I said, leaning on the seat. We looked to see the tow truck moving the Moon Buggy roughly to the other side of it flipping it in the process. "How could anybody let that historical gem slip through their fingers?" Mikey said sadly, looking back at the Buggy while Donnie looked at him and then the Buggy saying " I do not know, Micheal, but we got to have it." Donnie then kicked the car door and got out 'What the heck?' I thought we all got out and went stealthy to another car who had a kitten sleeping peacefully in the broken headlights. Which woke up, meowing when Mikey was asking about the plan.

"Aww look how cute they are." I whispered to the two "Y/N were trying to get the Moon Buggy so be quiet." Donnie whispered-yelled to me. "But look how cute it is." I said picking it up which made it purr and cuddle up to me. "Hmm what should I name you?" I whispered to it. "Y/n we are not looking at kittens right now." Donnie said, "We made a deal if I see something cool or cute to me I'm keeping it remember?" He groaned in frustration and said "fine but-"

He was cut off by the car being lifted which made us fall. We looked to see a mutant? Lifting the car I looked at my lap to find the cat scared so I pet it and put it in my backpack leaving it open for the kitten to breathe and put my backpack backwards so it was on my plastron instead. "Who the heck are youse?" The mutant said,"Oh no, a Mutant!" Donnie said but then corrected himself saying "Oh wait we're mutants too."

"Last time I checked yeah" I said "Well then we're okay" Donnie said getting up along with me and Mikey. Mikey then told the mutant "Dude, you better hide." He pointed back behind him and finished his sentence saying "There's a human guy around here." The Mutant then said "Easy, easy." They threw the car they lifted and said "This is Repo Mantis Salvage." Crossing their arms "The guy is me" He said with his hands? On his hips.

"This is your lot?" Mikey questioned then got up saying "You have to sell us that moon buggy!" Which made Donnie grab his shell and grab my arm pulling us to a 'Side bar' "Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa. Cool your scramjets, buddy. This is a negotiation." Donnie said, then looked back at the Mantis mutant and said to Mikey "We gotta play it smooth." "Wait what?" I asked, "Let us handle this." Donnie said with a smirk and gave Mikey sunglasses to which they both put theirs on and checked out the Moon Buggy.

I facepalmed myself in embarrassment and went up to Donnie showing money to Repo. "I've got big sliver, small sliver, and I can make it rain copper, daddy." Dropping pennies in the process.

I groaned and went up to Repo trying to pull my wallet out from my backpack without waking the kitten and I did successfully. "Look here I can give um 50, 60 bucks for this Moon Buggy to get out of your... Mantis hands?"

"NO!" I turned around to see Donnie trying to stop me from offering by jumping to me but landed in the dirt face first. But gets up all fine and nudges me away from the mutant saying "Ahem, sorry they meant to say out of my wallet." Pulling out 50 to 60 cents out making it rain out of his hands falling Repo Mantis.

He thought for a bit and said "Hey, you ain't got nearly enough like your lover there." Donnie and I looked at each other and blushed then looked away. I was fiddling with my fingers while Don was rubbing the back of his neck. "But say I could use a couple of tough muties like you." He turned around and asked "Ever do any repo work?" Which made Mikey jump off the Moon Buggy in front of us saying "Of course." Then he asked, taking his sunglasses off a bit "No. What's repo work?"

Repo Mantis explained while leaning against a beaten old car "It's when you take stuff back" he then slices one of the side view car mirrors finishing his explanation "from deadbeats who didn't pay for it. Do a job for me today, and I'll let you have that moon buggy thing." Pointing at the Buggy. Mikey was about to answer until Donnie pulled him back to where we were saying "Look, Mikey, repo men have to be mean, and I don't know if you know this, but you're kind of a softie" pointing at Mikey's plastron. "That really hurts my feelings!" I looked at them and patted Mikey's shell. He then realized what his purple masked brother meant and said "Oh~ You have a point." Pointing at Donnie "But I can do this. Hard as nails. Grr"

I looked at the two and said "Okay break." Then clapped my hands together. We told Repi Mantis we were in and he said that we have to get an RV from a 'shady' mutant from the woods in Edge City.
