"Ready?" she asked as she put a blanket in my lap.
We were at the door and just preparing to go. Irene's following us with a bag of whatever Sam thought i would need to for this short outting we are going. She pushed my wheelchair as we started to walk around.
We walked silently. Taking in every beautiful scenery in the property. Its beautiful out here, the wind is cool, the smell of the sea, the greens, the flowers, the smell of delicious food, fresh bread being baked and everything is all very calming. Its been 8 years or more since I've been here and this is not the piece of land i saw back then. This is a whole new world for me. Everything around me is breathtaking.
"Its so beautiful and ralaxing here..."
"Thats the main reason of Idyll's existence. Its to make the guests relax, chill, have a good time while being comfortable and enjoy the quiet and slow island life, away from the chaotic and busy life they have in the city." a voice answered.
We looked at where the voice is from and i saw a beautiful woman approaching us. She's tall, slim and very attractive. She has this beautiful gummy smile that im sure everyone would want to see. Did i say she's very beautiful?
"Welcome to Idyll Island Resort and Spa. Im Neung Sarawos, Idyll's General Manager."
"Dont be so formal Neung. We're not your guests, we're just looking around." Sam said.
So they are in a first name basis huh? - - - So what if they are Mon? Stop thinking!
"I hope you are enjoying your stay in the cabin. Its my favorite place in all of Idyll." Neung said. "It's so peaceful and quiet in there, especially the garden."
I just looked at Neung then glared at Sam after. How dare this woman let anyone set foot on MY Cabin!
"I enjoyed staying in MY Cabin. Thank you very much. But i hope starting today, no one will enter MY Cabin without MY permission."
"Yours? Your cabi---?" Neung's eyes widen in surprise, she even gasped and looked at Sam then back to me and then back to Sam again. "Is she-----" i saw Sam gave her a nod. "Oh my goodness Khun Sam! You should have told me that the guest you are talking to, that is recovering from an injury, is Mrs. Anuntrakul! You're embarassing me Phi!"
Its my time to be surprised now, Neung is now glaring at Sam and even smacking her shoulder. So she knew Sam's married? She knew my existence as Sam's wife?
"I thought Jim mentioned it to you!" Sam said
"That older cousin of mine is as useless as you are especially with important details like this!" Neung said. So Neung is P'Jim's cousin and now the General Manager of Idyll. But Wait did she just diss on her boss? I chuckled at their interactions. As i look at them bickering, i can see them as siblings rather.
"You laughed." I heard Sam said so i looked back at them. They are now just looking at me.
"I am capable of having expressions and emotions too, thank you very much. But you both are hilariously immature now. You should really get back to being formal before an employee saw you too, they might loose the remaining respect they have in you two if they will see how you two bicker and argue like children." i said, i even hear Irene chuckle behind us.
"Sorry Love, this girl dont really know how to respect her boss sometimes." Sam said and went back behind me.
Wait..... Did she just call me Love? Its been a while.
