The quietness of the night was broken by the sound of wings flapping gently before the foot of Mihr touched the rooftop followed by his other foot. Walking to the edge, he sat down, "Ha… hopefully the mister isn't in any more danger, he got cut up pretty badly…" he said, worried for the human who's unfortunate enough to encounter something so, so hideous. Suddenly , a glowing feather of his floated in front of him, touching it gently, he hummed, thinking what prayer could it be.

Sliding his pointer finger gently from the base of the feather to the very tip, the feather glowed even brighter which lasted for two seconds. Chuckling slightly, Mihr stood up, "Such childish innocence this one, I hope the child can grow into something great." Putting his left foot forward, he did a small hop, letting himself fall straight as a pencil with the wind hitting his front, his clothes flapping all around as he did so.

Before he could hit the ground, he stopped mid air, wings out. But this time, only his first pair which made the glow noticeably dimmer, and with one strong flap that blew the grass and leaves of trees away, he flew to his location. His white trail contrasting the dark night sky, but accompanying the shining stars for many who's still awake to see.

Not even a minute later, he's standing outside the house where the child that prayed resided in, the feather he followed slowly reconnected with his wing, the street being fairly quiet with the chipper of cicadas, meowing of cats, and the soft barking of dogs being the only noise that can be heard throughout the street. With a slight flutter, the wings are gone.

Projecting a small object made of light, he sticks it in the lock with the light forming to the shapes inside and unlocking the gate, walking inside, he saw a dog—brown in color with its underside being a lighter shade—the dog's doe eyes opened, but instead of being alarmed and warning the houseowner of an intruder, it just stared at him before slowly closing its eyes.

After doing the same thing to their front door, Mihr entered and quickly went upstairs where he found the child, a boy, no younger than 11 sleeping soundly. Smiling softly at the innocent child that prayed for his family's safety, he closed the door.

"Time to work." He muttered softly.

Now outside, he stood in the center of the grass yard, finishing the gigantic magic circle he created. "Now that I've put marks like this around the house that when activated, will affect the people within the house. Remember, Mihr, just a simple prayer, easy."

Floating above ground with his wings out, he spreads his arms wide, and slowly, he speaks. "Father, give this home your strength for there will be times where their strength will not be enough, give them your love, push them to the right direction as you have others, and guide the child to a better future for there may not be enough angels to protect children like them, Amen."

Putting his right hand forward with his left now in a praying position, he muttered, "Pax Super Nos." And with that, the whole magic circle along with the smaller ones around the house glowed brightly before dissolving in the form of golden dust.

With a satisfied smile, he prepares to take flight only to see that the kid woke up and is now staring at him, eyes full of wonder. Smiling, he gave the boy a salute before taking off. "For you, this will all just be a dream." Mihr thought as he flew above, the cold breeze hitting him as he did so.

Landing on top of yet another building, Mihr stretches, hearing a crack and pop in some places which earns a sigh of happiness from the angel. "Kyoto looks even more beautiful at night, ha~. But, it's midnight, what's a person doing out this late? Hmmm."
