【C/n POV】

It was the morning and I had woken up so I decided to make breakfast for everyone because my mother was sick and my father was out, while I was trying to grab the ingredients for what I was trying to make, I heard mini foot steps coming closer and closer

Until someone bummed into me causing me to let go of one of the ingredients I had in my hand witch was in glass bottle, I looked to see who had bumped into me and I saw tanjiro on the floor, It was like slow motion for me I saw the glass bottle slowly falling and tanjiro on the floor, I knew that the glass shards would go flying towards him

Once i head the sound of glass breaking I quickly ran towards tanjiro hugging his small form in my big one causing glass shards to stab my back

I felt the warm liquid rolling down my back and I knew right away that it was my blood

I head a small gasp and looked down and saw tanjiro had a worried look on his face

He was worried to the point he was crying his eyes out I tried to calm him down but that didn't work

C/n: Hey hey Sunshine, it's ok I'm ok you don't need to cry.

Tanjiro: but y-your hurt a-and it's m-my fault!

Kie: What was that sound.....oh my god C/n your bleeding what happened!?

C/n: mom it's nothing really it doesn't hurt I swear!

I tried to convince my mother that I was ok and everything was fine, but she wasn't having it she dragged me to the bathroom to clean my wounds

In the bathroom

Kie: Dear you must be more careful next time.

C/n: I know its just I didn't want him to get hurt I'm the older sibling it's my jo-

I groaned in pain when felt the wet rag touch my wound, after a few minutes had gone by we heard a soft knock on the door

Kie: Come in.

Once she said that the door slid open to show tanjiro with puffy red eyes

C/n: Sunshine what's wr-

Tanjiro: I'm sososo sorry Nee-san I didn't mean for you to get hurt.

He was hugging my legs while apologizing to Mr

C/n: Sunshine I told you it's ok I'm fine either way I don't want you to be so upset on such a fun day.

Tanjiro: fun day?

C/n: Yeah it's the 4th of July!

Tanjiro: W-what's the 4th of July?

C/n: Well it's a holiday for a different country but the village is going to celebrate it.

Tanjiro: Well how do they celebrate it?

C/n: Oh they set off fireworks to celebrate.

Tanjiro: F-fireworks, what are those?

C/n: hum well there like explosions in the sky but pretty and colorful, but they are a little loud.

Tanjiro: I wanna see fireworks can we go see the fireworks Nee-san please!

C/n: haha, how about this once it's night you Bunny and I can go down to the village to see the fireworks.

Tanjiro: Ok!

AND AT THE VILLAGE

Nezuko: what are we doing at the village and at night?

Tanjiro: Oh well nezuko were here to see fireworks Nee-san said there like explosions in the sky and there colorful but loud.

Nezuko: R-really!?

C/n: yeah, come on let's go I have the perfect spot where you can see the whole village.

C/n picked up tanjiro and nezuko then started walking towards the spot you were talking about

C/n: just a few more minutes and there will be fireworks.

Tanjiro: I can't wait!

Nezuko: Me too!

C/n: Sunshine, Bunny.

Both: yes Nee-san/Nee-chan?

C/n: There's going to be times where I can't be there for you both of you so I want you two to swear you two will look after each other.

Tanjiro: Where is this all coming from Nee-san?

C/n: O-oh um n-nothing I just want you to to be safe when I'm not around is all.

Tanjiro: Oh then we swear we will always look after each other.

After that was said fireworks were set off with a loud bang

Nezuko: Woah.

Tanjiro: they look so cool and pretty!

After an hour tanjiro and nezuko had fallen asleep on my lap exhausted for how late it was in the night

C/n thoughs: tanjiro nezuko never change.........

That's it, sorry it's short and that I didn't posting it on the fourth of July it's cuz while we were camping like I put in the previous chapter

I had to charge my phone so I went to the car to charge it but I dropped it on the step thingie to get into the car since it was a truck but anyways

it fell and broke so I just got a new phone today, and I broke it yesterday so once again I'm deeply sorry about it, I hope you all had a good 4th of July I did expect for my phone breaking, oh and I'm finally back home from camping it fells so great to be back home
