FALLING FOR YOU IS GETTING PUBLISHED!!!
like it's actually getting published into a real book, you can actually own a copy!!! you're gonna be able hold it in your hands, page through it and everything 😭
it's still so insane that this is happening to me. guys this my been has been my dream since i was in primary school and i just wanted to thank all of you for making it possible. you all have literally changed my life in so many ways and i appreciate every read, every vote, every comment.
i'm so excited that i get to share something i love sm with the very people who helped Falling For You get to where it is today. so just to say thanks, i'm going to be giving away an exclusive project very soon- so keep an eye out 😉
don't worry, i'm still going to be here on Wattpad, but for copyright reasons, my publisher has asked me to take down the chapters before publishing. thankfully you guys won't have to wait long since Falling For You is going to be published on July 23, 2023 EST!
they are also setting up an actual author page for me where you will be able to participate in a book cover contest for Falling For You! you will have the opportunity to create and submit the cover you've always wanted and imagined for Cristina and Haydn's story... and who knows? maybe you'll be the lucky one who has their name on the book cover and whose work will be seen by everyone.
the following are just a few things you will need to know before joining the contest:
• to enter please send your cover to my agent (Winnie) at ftwagent@gmail.com on or before July 9, 2023.
• know that if we do choose your work you will get credit on the physical cover. if you're an aspiring artist (graphic or otherwise), this can be a good addition to your portfolio and could possibly bring you future work from us and other book publishers.
• if your cover does win, you will be required to fill out a form that will let us have the cover.
• please remember to use royalty-free images as the use of copyrighted images is NOT allowed.
• if your cover wins, we will do everything we can to use it. however, please be aware of the technical, formatting issues may arise that prevents us from doing so. eg. we might not be able to use the photoshop file or we might even find a copyrighted image in the cover design.
if you want to join please just take note of the following requirements:
• high resolution in JPG and PSD (Photoshop) format so we can use it for the paperback version of the book.
• 5.5 in x 8.5 in and 300 DPI (pixels per inch)
• must have the book title "Falling For You" and my name, River Thomson.
now for some winning tips 😛:
• the cover has to look good in Amazon thumbnail size and attract possible readers, make them want to click on it
• the text needs to be readable.
• please use a maximum of two fonts only.
btw, this is by no means mandatory, you can still be involved by helping me choose the cover when the time comes. i'm just giving you guys the chance to get involved in the book launch because i genuinely couldn't have gotten here with each and everyone of you 🥺
