Ch 7

Jack Gilinsky POV

My eyes opened at the sound of loud cheering and a squealing girl. I rolled over my bed and placed a pillow on my head, trying to escape the noise. I shut my eyes and waited for it to be quiet but of course, it didn't. I felt the right side of my bed sink down as two bodies rolled on each other.
"Get the fuck off, I'm trying to sleep" instead of letting them voluntarily get off, I managed to push them over, and I once again had my bed to myself.

"What the-" Johnson zipped up his pants and helped the unsteady girl get to her feet. "I thought you'd be with Zoey" he rolled his eyes and fixed his hair.
"Why would I be with Zoey" I mocked him and chuckled.
"Really G, c'mon you can't wait to get in her pants and you had to take her from me" he scoffed as the girl tried kissing him.
"Or she just doesn't like you and your horny ass chasing after her" I got up, officially awake.
"Oh she wants me I know it. I just couldn't wait that long" he laughed and grabbed the dazed girl from her ass and began kissing her neck.

"Really Johnson" I muttered and grabbed the nearest shirt and my phone from the floor. I checked the time and yawned, only 4:15. I strolled downstairs and found Skate and Sam laughing at nothing in particular. "You guys need to smoke less" I laughed and pushed Skate's head to a side as I made my way into the kitchen.
"Or you need to smoke more, man" I looked up from my cereal bowl and saw Skate nodding his head agreeing with himself.

To my side, Sam was on the counter swinging his legs calmly and mumbling something. "Speak up Sam" I slapped his back since it was red from his bad tan a week ago.
"You know who I think is really per-pret-" he furrowed his eyebrows and laughed at his own stupidity. "I think Vicky is," he clicked his tongue and winked.
"No shit she's your girlfriend dumbass." I laughed and took a bite from my cereal.
"You need a girlfriend" he said all of a sudden serious. I kept chewing my food trying to seem unphased. As if he got a brilliant idea he jumped off the counter and swung his arm over my shoulder,"You and Zoey should hook up," his eyes widened with excitement."I'll call Vicky and ask her to ask Zoey" he said pulling out his phone out of his pocket.

"No!" I slapped the phone out of his hand and awkwardly laughed after."Don't ok, I'm going to pick her up right now, so no need to set me up."
Sam smiled and nodded and walked back to the couch with Skate. "You guys are actually going to school today, right?" I questioned while they groaned and just nodded their heads. I chuckled and went to the restroom.

I didn't want to look like crap so I took a quick shower and played around with my hair until it stood up nicely. I searched for some cologne and I finally found a Calvin Klein one. I looked at it and shrugged, "Why not" I sprayed it all around and smiled, since it smelled pretty damn good. I changed back into my clothes and sprayed a little more cologne on.

I drummed my fingers on the steering wheel as I waited for Zoey to come out. She convinced her parents that she'd walk to school, and they gladly let her. I took in a deep breath as I waited another 5 minutes. That's when she came out looking free from any flaw. I must have been staring, since she stopped midway and frowned. She dusted herself off and came in,"Did I stain my shirt or what?"
"No no no. Its just, uh nothing" I started the car and tried fixing myself on the seat.
"You're fidgeting is getting me nervous" she laughed while she put on some Chapstick.
Well I'm sorry I'm showing my excitement to much!
I lifted my leg trying to block any view from my pants.
"You ok Jack?" She said looking at me now.

Please don't look down. Please don't look down.
Thankfully we made it to school and I hopped off the car right away. After calming down, she stood in front of me with her hand to her hip.
"What?" I said looking behind me.
"You're... special" she laughed.
"Yes I know I am, thank you for the reminder." She smiled at me and all I could imagine was wrapping my arms around her and finally meeting those lips.
"Ok now you're just staring, please explain"
"Uh," I scratched my neck and was about to tell her, when a sudden rush of swarming girls passed us. Zoey and I looked at each other and shrugged before we walked any further.

All I could hear were girls screaming and chanting out,"Shawn" over and over. I pushed my way through the crowd of girls, as Zoey followed behind me. I grabbed him by the neck and ruffled his hair.
"Damn Shawn, long time no see" he got out of my grip easily and patted my back as we hugged. (bro hug)
Zoey stood there swaying from side to side waiting for me, I guess. "Oh right, Shawn this is, uh, Zoey"
"The Zoey you hate?" He blurted out as Zoey laughed and nodded, as if he gave her the nicest compliment ever. "Sorry- I" he stuttered trying to regain himself.

"It's ok, I mean we do basically hate each other." she shrugged and elbowed me lightly on the arm. I looked down at her and gave her a cheeky smile, that she didn't seem to notice. My eyes traveled to where she was looking, only to see Shawn looking her up and down as she spoke. The proctors where about to separate Shawn and Zoey, before he said it was ok and the principal and proctors cleared all the screaming girls away from him. Now it was just me, Shawn, and Zoey. Even though it felt more like Zoey and Shawn, and an invisible Gilinsky. When she asked him something he gladly turned on his "Shawn Charm." I wanted to yank both of them apart and speak to them separately. Before I knew it Shawn was snapping his fingers in my face as Zoey poked me in the cheek.

Before I could get even more mad and answer, they pointed behind me, directing me to Sam,Skate,and Johnson. I gave them a tight smile and rolled my eyes as I turned around to meet my friends.
