Ch 8

Zoey POV

Shawn and I continued to talk until Vicky came over to us and pulled me away.
"Sorry, we have to get to class. Something you wouldn't be familiar with, mister famous boy." she huffed out and led me to my first period.
"What the hell was that" I said after pinching her to let me go.
"Ow, and first you're flirting with Gilinksy and now Shawn."
"I don't know how to flirt" I mumbled as I slumped in my seat as everyone began to come in. Vicky snickered at my response and kept on slapping my desk when Gilinsky came in.
I looked up and saw him winking at some girl, I felt my stomach tighten or growl. I don't know, I could be hungry.

By the time he sat down he peered over his shoulder to find me looking at him. I sneered and immediately smiled when I saw Shawn passing by the door. He entered and all the girls began squirming in their seats, I laughed when he came in to sit next to me and act as if no one was around him.
"Ok probably not the best thing to sit next to me" I felt Jack's eyes still on me, and that's when I smacked Shawn's perfectly toned arm, flirtatiously. Shawn grabbed my hand and started playing around with it, "Cute little hands"
"Shut up" I chuckled and pulled my hand away. I turned my gaze to Vicky, and saw her giving me an annoyed glare. I shrugged and saw Gilinsky now with his arm slumped around the girl he was flirting with earlier.
Well now we're even.
As class was ending, Shawn hugged me and ten other girls goodbye. "I'll see you later, right" he smiled, I nodded my head and gave him my number, 'cause why not.

-Next period-

I was half asleep when I heard shuffling on the desk next to mine. I moved the hair that fell across my face and tried to glare at the person that woke me up. I made out perfect bone structure,and long streaming light hair, that complimented her face. She turned around and arched her eyebrow at me trying to hide her smile.
"Yes?"
"Sorry, are you new here?" I yawned as I put my hair in my daily bun,"I'm Zoey by the way" I finished with a smile.
"Yeah, I'm Logan"

"Ladies! I need you two to be quiet" the teacher scolded.
"Mr.Jensen I was just getting acquainted with the new student, and letting her know more about the school" I gave him my good girl smile and he just nodded his head and continued with the English lesson. I turned my head around to face a surprised Logan. I was completely lost, but I smiled at her anyways. After the confusion, Mr.Jensen gave us some partner work so Logan and I paired up.
"Eyebrows is like hardcore staring at you" She said peeking to the side of my head where he sat.

"Yeah Gilinksy's weird like that" I shrugged and continued to analyze the poetry in front of me.
"So what's going on between you two" she said wiggling her eyebrows.
"Nothing, besides the fact that my parents hate him and his hate me."
"Ah forbidden love" Logan recited.
"You're stupid" I laughed.
"Hey you just met me, that's not cool" she crossed her arms and tried to intimidate me. I just shook my head and continued working. "Hey bitch I don't really have anywhere to go for lunch so I'll meet up with you" she asked, no told me.
"Ha confidence booster..." Logan shrugged, smiled, and peered one last time at Gilinsky.
"Stop looking, it's annoying" I rolled my eyes playfully.
"Aw you getting jealous" she smirked at me, as if she was trying to figure me out. We finally finished our analysis and handed it to the teacher, who smiled at me and approved of the essay. Logan looked at me confused, a look I see to often honestly.

With the remaining time, we talked and it ended up being mostly about boys. I mean we're seniors but c'mon, boys is always a topic.
"So I hear you two talking about me" Gilinksy came to us being his cocky self. I squinted my eyes at him and scoffed, he glanced at me and gave me his heart melting smile, not smirk, smile. I jumped out of my seat and waved goodbye to Logan as I made my way to my next period. Of course though, Gilinksy had to come with me.

-lunch-

"Fuck my life" I sat down and stuffed my face in my hands.
"What now" I heard Vicky muffle, since she was eating her burger. I told her how confused I was and how weird Gilinsky was acting this morning. At school he's a complete ass, or better known as a cocky fuckboy. But when we're alone, it's different. Of course he's still cocky but, he can manage a few compliments here and there. He acts like he cares, even though I can't imagine why. Maybe Johnson's constant flirting was just as irritating to me as it was for him.
"Hey" I was brought back from my thoughts, when a tray slammed onto the table.

"Oh hey Logan" as I was about to introduce her, Vicky already managed to give me her 'who is she' look. My mouth opened, but nothing came out. The boys walked to us, something that never happened. It was always, just Sam, by himself. As if it was their routine, the slid in on the bench around the table. Johnson seemed to have moved on to another girl (thank goodness), Sam sat across from us leaning over to kiss Vicky, Gilinsky sat down comfortably smiling, and Nate, well Nate was giving Logan the same face Gilinsky was giving me.

Jack Gilinsky

"If you're not up for it then don't do it. But if you don't, just know, I will" Johnson smiled deviously. Skate shrugged at me but nodded his head anyways, since he wanted to see how far I'd go with Zoey. How we got to daring each other to do stupid shit, I'll never know.
"No." my voice sounded firm, "I'll make sure Zoey puts out with me, not you."
"So let us start this little forbidden reunion." Johnson said getting up, and walking over to where the girls were.

I got up and followed Johnson and Skate, as we were walking I could hear Skate whispering about the new girl. I rolled my eyes, amused. That's when I felt a constant tap on my back,"Can I at least tell Vicky about this," I heard Sam sounding eager. I turned around and stopped him with my hand on his chest.
"No, you can't tell anyone about this." I said through gritted teeth. He shook his head understanding, I gave him a small smile, letting him know I wasn't mad.

We all sat down, and I couldn't help but stare at Zoey and imagine everything I had planned.
