Jack Gilinsky POV

"Today, we will be officially discussing human anatomy" the old man said, giving the class a crinkled smile.

"So, we'll be going into detail about males and their bodies, and how they work" I said putting a finger to my chin "'Cause I can just show all the ladies right now, how and what they're used for" I smiled, knowing all eyes were on me. I looked around and noticed all girls twirling their hair or powdering their already caked up face.

Except for a couple of girls talking quietly to each other.
One of the girls looked serious, and was just nodding along to what the other girl said. A pencil inserted the messy mahogany bun, gave it away quickly. Zoey was the other girl that payed no attention to my remark.
"Sorry, can you speak up son. My hearing aid was turned off." he said as he slowly cranked the volume of the earpiece.
"I was just saying how excited I am to have you as an anatomy teacher, Mr.Prehn" I responded, taking out a pen from my backpack. As Mr.Prehn began a slide show of notes, I glanced one last time at Zoey.

Zoey POV

"Don't look now, but Gilinksy's looking over here" instead of listening to the warning, I turned around and and scrunched up my nose in disgust.
"Zoey, I said not to look" the quick slap on my arm caused me to turn around and roll my eyes laughing.
"Relax Vicky, he knows I don't like him" I shrugged.
"Really I didn't know" she said sarcastically and braided her black layered hair.

I shook my head and looked up at the board, trying to find what line I last wrote. I felt uncomfortable as I was writing, and turned my head around towards the direction I felt the hard stare. I mentally groaned as I noticed Johnson smirking in my direction.
I batted my eyelashes at him annoyed. I guess I didn't show my annoyance enough because a second later, he winked and licked his lips still smiling.

I got up to "sharpen my pencil," and harshly whispered low enough for Johnson to hear. "What do you want"
"I want you" he said as his eyes traveled around my body. I would have felt uncomfortable, but all I was wearing were a pair of jeans and a black tank top.
"That was what, a year ago." I laughed at his attempt to be seductive.
"And we never got to finish that one night" he smirked again.
"Thank goodness" I smiled sarcastically and walked back to my seat.

I continued writing, and my mind began to wonder off to that stupid party. Small flashbacks would slowly claw their way back into my conscious mind and I had to lay my head on the cool desk to calm down.

-Flashback-
Both Vicky and I were preparing for our first "official" high-school party.
Sad, right.
Well, luckily, Sam came up to us and asked us if we wanted to come.
Although Vicky was your average volleyball jock, she always turned down invitations, knowing I wanted to avoid Gilinksy.
So I finally gave in.
I looked at the mirror and laughed, my large framed glasses and chubaka like eyebrows did not compliment my face.
"C'mon Zoey, let me dress you up after this" Vicky pleaded already sitting me down on a dentist looking chair. After a painful eyebrow threading, I was being completely transformed by Vicky.
-
We got to the party, and all I felt were stares either from thirsty guys or slutty girls.
"I don't think this is a good idea" I tried escaping out the door as I pinched down the black bodycon cutout dress.
I was being pushed back in,"Hike it up again"
I crossed my arms and shook my head like a child. Vicky gave me her menacing glare and I did as I was told.
"Woah, hey there Zoey" Johnson came up to me as Vicky left to flirt with Sam.
"Uh hey" I managed to let out.
"You look different without glasses, and damn eyebrows on point" he smirked.
"Ha, thanks" I rubbed my bare arm.
I awkwardly walked away, leaving Johnson to talk to himself. I bumped into a toned figure and apologized quickly.
Whoever it was, grabbed onto my shoulders and looked at me in admiration. "Zoey, you look" Gilinksy bit his lip and sighed, letting out the strong marijuana smell that made me gag.
I pushed him off of me and walked to the kitchen.
Someone offered me a drink, and I stupidly took it without hesitation. Before I knew it, I was dancing along with someone in the backyard.
"Babe, you move so smoothly" I snickered and continued dancing. I looked up at the god-like face, and snapped out my daze. I was in close contact with him, and I didn't want to punch him in the face. Instead I wanted to punch my lips with his. Thank goodness for common sense and bringing me back to life...
"Get off of me, Gilinsky" he furrowed his eyebrows and seemed to notice who he was dancing with as well.
"I don't even know why I was dancing with you, Marshall" he walked away scratching his neck.
-
I don't even know how, but someone was furiously attacking my neck with sloppy wet kisses.
Blond hair scratching against my face.
I tried pushing him off but I was too weak at the moment.
"Get off of her" a husky voice warned.
Johnson stopped and obliged hesitantly. "C'mon G, it was my turn"
"You're not having sex in my room, and not with her." I didn't know if I should have been offended or grateful. Either way, I charged out of the room. I looked back to see a serious Gilinksy, actually looking apologetic.
-end of flashback-

The bell rang and everyone walked out of the class. Vicky shook me and I lifted my head to smile at her.
"You took another nap Zoey" she told me as if I didn't know.
"I didn't realize" I sarcastically responded while I grabbed my backpack.
Our sarcasm, is what you call a daily reminder of why we're friends.
"Ok well I'm going to meet up with Sam for lunch, see ya later" she waved and I smiled waving back, as we left in opposite directions.

I struggled to open my locker and left after the 3rd failed attempt. As I was going to the cafeteria, I was pulled into the janitors closet.

Gilinsky POV

"What did Johnson want?" I asked staring down at Zoey.
"Does it matter..." she shrugged looking intimidated. I ran my fingers through my hair and imitated her shrug. "Ok well bye then" she said quickly recaching over me to grab the handle.

I stood stiffly in place as I stared down at her face. My breathing slowed down and I could tell I made her nervous. Something changed, we weren't the same kids that hated each other. She glanced at me with an expression I've only seen one other time. She gulped and pushed me hard enough to open the door leaving me alone, frustrated. But not a normal frustration, more of an enticing frustration.

What the hell, what am I feeling...
