Chapter 3: Missing

Mikey jumped back and took out his kusari fundo. "Hi? Who are you?", He said as he straightened out of his battle stance, his weapons still in hand. 

The figure took off their hood, and it showed a fox smiling at the turtle, "I am Nathan! Pleasure to meet you. I've heard a lot about you."

Mikey tilted his head and looked questionably at the yokai, still not able to make out his face entirely. "How do you know me? Where have you heard of me?", Mikey asked. 

The figure walked out of the shadows. His face and animal features finally showed. The fox had blue eyes and pretty orange fur. 'Cool~', Mikey thought. "I heard from a friend. Anyway, what brings you here on this fine evening?", Nathan grinned at Mikey. 

Mikey put his weapons away and calmed down. 'He doesn't seem too bad.' Mikey thought as he gave the fox a smile. "I was just looking for something? Do you possibly know somewhere that cures hyperness? I'm pretty sure it's called ADHD…", Mikey trailed off as he thought back to what he was looking for.

"OH! I know a way, but do you trust me?" Nathan tapped his foot and looked into Mikey's eyes.

"Well, I just met you. So…not really!", Mikey smiled at Nathan. Nathan sighed and looked behind him at Mikey. "Calm down. Walk with me?"

Mikey hesitated and then nodded. 'Alright. I guess a little walk won't hurt.', Mikey thought to himself. What he didn't see was Nathan giving himself a sly grin as he walked on in front of the naive little turtle.

Raph yawned as he came out of his room. He looked around, seeing no sign of anyone. 'I hope Mikey is alright. I'll go check on him.' He sighed to himself and walked to Mike's room. 

Raph knocked on the door, no response. He knocked again and asked, "Mikey, you in there?".

No response.

Raph opened the door to see Mikey's room empty. "Mike?".

Raph quickly walked out of Mike's room and headed to Leo. "Hey, Leo. Have you seen Mikey at all?", Raph asked as he looked around stressfully. 

Leo shook his head and lifted his non-existent brow, "Why? Did something happen?". Raph sighed and glanced up at Leo, "Not really. He asked if we wanted to hang out earlier. He seemed bummed out when I refused. I wanted to see if he wanted to now."

Leo nodded and limped over to Raph, "Why don't we ask Don-Tron if he's seen Mikester."

As the brothers made it to Don's room, Donnie just so happened to walk out. He looked up at them and lifted his brow, "Everything alright?". 

Leo and Raph shared a worried look, "Have you seen Mikey at all?"

Donnie shook his head and froze, "Wait, is Mike missing?"

Raph nodded and sighed, "Maybe I should have just said yes…"

Donnie turned and groaned as he sat in his chair, "Well, let's find our little brother."

Donnie started typing rapidly on his computer as Raph and Leo looked over his shoulder. "Could you give me some personal space? It's hard to work if I have eyes peering at every little detail."

The two backed away and watched silently and far away from Donnie. Just as the two started dozing off, Donnie shot up and looked back at them. "Got it. Now, for some round of applause. Thank you, thank you!", Donnie bowed and pointed at the computer. "I've got a tracking device on him! I knew it would come in handy."

Leo stared at it for a moment and then looked at Donnie, "Do you have one for all of us?".

Donnie avoided eye contact and mumbled, "Of course not! Nervous chuckle…"

Leo sighed and got up, "Welp! Let's go find our lil bro!"
