-Are we best friends?-a little girl with a chestnut-colored eyes asked.
Two young girls with lilies in their hands were standing in the middle of a playground. Other kids were shouting, crying, and begging their parents for ice cream, but not these two. One of them was taller than the other and was waiting for the answer from a shorter blonde girl.
-We are. We are best friends, and we always will be-she said and hugged her friend.
The Brunette girl hugged her back and giggled.
-Let's go to the slides, come on!
And that was it. All the memories she had with a blonde girl ended. After 11 years of having a best friend, it all vanished. And the worst part was: there was no reason. Their daily communication turned into Happy Birthday text messages every year.
The blonde girl, named Eleanor Ennet was Ivy Jenkins's closest friend for 11 years. It all started in a kindergarten when they were 4. Eleanor asked Ivy if she could borrow a pencil. Such a simple start all friendships have, you never understand why you chose that one persona to be your inseparable sibling-like someone. But Ivy chose Eleanor and Eleanor chose Ivy.
It had been a year since they haven't spoken. Ivy sent Eleanor tons of messages asking her to hang out, but nobody responded. Eventually, she found out that her friend was leaving NYC to go to Paris for a luxurious school, a fancy house, and an expensive car. And yet, Eleanor never even bothered to ask Ivy how she was.
Some people might think that it sounds unrealistic, but it really did happen. After Ivy's terrible emotional condition, she decided to forget these feelings and start her life on a new page, but it wouldn't be that easy. But she still decided to give it a shot and try.
