So that was it. This was the infamous Whiteford High School. It looked incredibly outstanding from the outside. An endearing garden could have been seen from the gates. There was a fountain that was located in the middle of a flower field. Ivy saw two stadiums and playgrounds. The building itself was extremely modern, grey and white. The windows were wide and she could see a laboratory from one of the open windows. The building had four or five floors and as Ivy had heard it had elevators.

She took a deep breath, showed the school guards her badge, and walked inside the garden. Immediately her emotions changed. Everything looked fascinating and appealing. The modern environment was Ivy's favorite. She could see many students hugging and smiling at each other.

She knew that her godmother's daughter was going to this school, but she hadn't met her in years. They had texted to each other but never met in real life for 2 years. They were quite close when they were kids. They used to play together every weekend.

-Alright, it is 8:20, and more than half an hour is still left. So, I should meet my teacher now.

She called her headteacher named Allison Waterhouse and told her that she was standing near the building. Suddenly, a woman of average height with short and curly black hair came to her. She was wearing glasses and had a shocked look on her face. She was wearing red lipstick and had her eyes wide open.

-Miss Jenkins-she hugged her new student-you look fantastic. Aren't you excited? Come on, our class is on the second floor. Some students are in the classroom and I cannot wait for you to meet them. As you know, there are 3 10th graders' classes. Our class is 10A. You will have some of the lessons with this class, but in some subjects, the students will be mixed...Our uniform suits you so much, darling-she had slight of a British accent which sounded funny-Here we are!

The class was bright and white. There were pictures of famous people's quotes on the walls. Ivy saw Jane Austen and Francis Scott Fitzgerald directly.

-You like these authors, don't you?-Mrs, Waterhouse smiled.

-I love them. You have no idea how much I fascinate them-Ivy said with her eyes sparkling.

-Here is your new classmate, everybody-the teacher told 6 people who were in the class.

There were four girls. One of them had curly, brown hair and eyes full of energy. She was short and very pretty. Mrs. Waterhouse introduced her as Ella Matthews. Another one was black-haired and looked like an introvert, while the third girl had blonde hair and seemed like a shy, but open person. Her name was Dizzy Emmis and the introvert-like girl was Hazel Wood. One of the girls had ginger hair and freckles, just like Ginny Weasley in Harry Potter. This was Emmeline Fischer, who was from Germany. The boys looked also quite good. One of them, Dice Davis, was extremely tall with glasses and wavy, brunette hair. The second, Rowen James, was shorter but had beautiful green eyes and dark blonde hair.

-This is Ivy Janet Jenkins. She is an extremely smart girl. I hope you are all going to get along and be friendly towards each other. Now, you have 30 minutes, have fun!

The teacher left and Ivy smiled at others.

-Well, hello. I am excited to be here...

-Oh my lord, Ivy Jenkins. Are you the clever girl everyone keeps talking about? I mean the teachers. They did last year...Oh god. I am Ella as Allison said and I am sure we are going to be best friends. If you will have any questions, ask me. Do you need a tour? I would be glad to accompany you. Basically, I am so happy to have you here-she sounded much more energized than she looked.

-Hey, I am Dice, very glad to meet you-the boy smiled at her too-It's cool to have a new classmate.

-It is amazing-second guy said.

Dizzy observed Ivy and told her:

-I already like you. You seem awesome. I am sure you are going to like it here.

-Yes, I agree-the introvert-like person added.

-Thank you all so much, I didn't know if this place was this amazing-Ivy sighed from happiness-It is majestic. I feel like I am in a fantasy book...

-I know right? I have been saying that for ages!- Ella almost shouted-Although, Rosett probably wished this place was more old-fashioned and vintage...Have you met Rosett? Oh, you will soon. And you will meet so many people...

-Ella, don't scare her with your energy-Emmeline laughed and sighed-I think we will have a new teacher in history. Our old one was so great though.

-We had Mr. Jordan and he was a literal genius-Rowen told Ivy.

Oh, this would be an interesting year in Ivy's thought, but at that time she didn't even know what was going to happen soon.
