"What is it, Akito?" He asked, quickly walking up to me.

"I need a telescope. Now." I commanded. He looked at me before turning to one of the crewmembers.

"Ezo, give her the telescope." Kid said and Ezo nodded before handing it to me.

I quickly climbed up the mast and into the crow's nest and started scanning the horizon. A small Navy ship was coming toward us. I cursed to myself before climbing back down onto the deck. "Kid, a Navy vessel is heading in our direction. I suggest we prepare for a fight." I said, handing Ezo the telescope.

"How long do you think it'll take the Marines to reach us?" He asked, a sadistic grin forming. I smirked back.

"An hour, two at most. I know I'm ready for a fight." I replied. The crew cheered and started preparing for a battle.

"How good are you in a fight?" Killer's voice asked from behind me. I turned my head and looked at him over my shoulder.

"Better than you think I am, Killer. I excel at close combat, sniping, you name it. I can easily take out all of the Marines on that ship, but I don't want to hog all of the glory." I told him, the smirk still on my face. He quietly laughed before patting my shoulder.

"No better time than now to prove that." He stated before walking away. I laughed and turned back to Kid.

"Where are my weapons? I don't plan on using my devil fruit powers in this fight." I said. He looked at me with a puzzled expression.

"Why aren't you going to use your powers? The fight would probably go by faster if you did." He said. I sighed before smiling slightly.

"Well, I want to prove to you and the crew that I don't need my devil fruit to take down enemies, nor do I want to reveal the fact that I do have a devil fruit." I explained. He nodded before beckoning me to follow him.

We went below deck and reached the weapons room. We went in and I saw my sword and rifle and immediately grabbed them. I turned to exit the room, but Kid was standing in the doorway.

"What's up, Kid?" I asked quietly, taking a step toward him. He reached his right hand out toward me and I grabbed it. He pulled me into a tight hug, almost crushing my ribs, but I returned the hug.

"Don't be an idiot and get hurt, okay?" He asked in a whisper. I chuckled lightly and tilted my head up to him.

"Same goes for you." I retorted and pulled away. He scoffed before walking out of the room and I followed behind him.

An hour and a half later, cannonballs were flying through the air toward the Victoria Punk, barely missing it. I grinned as the crew returned fire. I've always loved fighting, it helped me release a lot of stress and pent-up anger. The Navy vessel got closer and closer, and I heard the shouts of the Marine soldiers.

"Kid, are we going to let them board the ship?" I asked, shouting down from the crow's nest. I saw him nod as he laughed. Feeling my Observation Haki zing, I lifted my rifle up and looked through the scope. A Marine sniper had his sights trained on Kid.

"Don't you fucking think about it," I snarled as I pulled the trigger. My bullet shot straight and true, piercing the Marine through his forehead and he fell to the deck below, dead.

"How did you know that Marine was there?" Killer asked from next to me.

"Observation Haki." Was my answer. I smiled grimly to myself before loading another bullet.

I kept sniping Marines until I ran out of bullets. Softly cursing, I glanced over at Killer and nodded. "I'm going down there, I ran out of bullets." I said. He nodded back and patted my shoulder.

"Have fun fighting. I want to see why pirates feared you when you were in the Navy." He joked. I rolled my eyes at him before climbing down the mast and joining the rest of the crew.

"Akito, what are you doing here? I thought you were in the crow's nest with Killer!" Heat shouted as he fired his gun at the Marines.

"I ran out of bullets!" I shouted back at him, dodging a Marine bullet. The Navy vessel was close enough to the ship now.

"I also like to get my hands dirty in a battle," I added, throwing one of the daggers I made earlier. The Marine I threw it at dodged, but not fast enough. His cheek was slashed open, exposing his teeth and cheekbone. I laughed as he screamed and covered his cheek.

A metal arm wrapped itself around my torso and pulled me back from the railing. "What the-" I started to say before my back was slammed against someone.

"Stay back for now, Akito. You have just barely recovered from a coma and have had nothing but a bowl of soup to eat in the past eight days. We don't need you getting hurt now, do we?" Kid asked, his voice a growl in my ears. I sighed angrily and tried to push his arm away.

"I can fight just fine, Kid, let me go." I complained. But he was right, my body was slowly getting weaker by the minute.

"Akito, I can feel your body getting weaker. I'm not telling you not to fight, I just-" his words were cut off as I tripped him and we fell to the deck. A bullet whizzed past right where we were standing seconds before.

"Apologies, Kid. That bullet would have pierced you had it not been for my Observation Haki." I stated, standing up and brushing off my legs. He stood up, a sneer on his face. The deck shuddered as a Marine officer landed in front of us.

"Do you think you can handle this one, Akito?" Kid asked me, his arms crossed over his chest. I flashed him a sadistic grin.

"Of course I can, just watch me." I said, my voice turning into a growl at the end. I pulled two daggers from my belt and twirled them in my palms. The Marine raised a pistol and aimed it at my chest.

"I don't care if you're a girl, you're still a filthy pirate!" He shouted, his voice wavering slightly. I laughed, and spread my arms wide.

"Shoot me, then! You won't even be able to make me bleed!" I growled, the sadistic grin still on my face. The gun in the Marine's hand shook wildly, but he did manage to pull the trigger. The bullet moved as if in slow motion, flying straight toward my chest. The bullet struck true, tearing a hole in my shirt. It came to a stop a centimeter from my skin and clattered to the floor.

"I told you, Marine, that you won't be able to make me bleed. It's time for you to die now." I calmly said before flinging the dagger in my left hand at the Marine. He didn't have a chance to react before the blade slammed into his chest.

"Damn it, Akito! I told you not to be an idiot!" Kid shouted at me. He was surrounded by four Marines, but seemed to be handling the odds well enough.

"Soma Akito!" An all too familiar voice shouted from the Navy vessel. The fighting on both ships stopped and everything went silent as a figure stepped onto the deck of the Victoria Punk.
