Always here

It's been a month since I started coming here. Yet, it feels like ages.

"Hey." I hear her beautiful voice behind me as i am lying my head on the grave post.
I get up and turn to look at her.

"Hey, i missed you." I try so hard to hold in my tears.

"I miss you too, baby." She smiles at me.
They way she smiles...I have never seen anything more attractive. God..I really missed it.

"Baby, we are late. What's taking so long?"

"Well, I have been trying to get ready for the past 2 hours because I know you are going to look so good and I need to try and match up." I reply as i wrap my arms around her neck.

"Look at you trying to butter me up...nice try." She laughs as she wraps her arms around my waist.

We get in the car and drive to our favourite restaurant ...the one we had our first date at. Well, we are celebrating our anniversarry today.

We are now sitting on our table.
"I have something for you" she grabs a small box from her pocket and opens it to reveal a gorgeous emerald ring.
I just stared at it too stunned to let out a word.

" it's a promise ring...a promise that I will always hold you when your day isn't going right ...that I will wipe your every tear when you feel like crying...that no matter what happens together we will make it through,
A promise that i will always love you"

I feel her hands stroking my cheeks returning me back to reality.

"Can i hug y.." I don't get to finish my sentence as i feel her arms wrapped around me hugging me tightly
I hug her back and rest my head on her chest taking in her smell.

"U know that you stole my heart from the first moment i laid my eyes on you, don't you?...my little theif."she chuckles. Yet I can feel the sadness in her voice.

"Please don't leave me, I can't do it anymore without you." I can feel my tears falling as i speak.

"I know it's hard but you are gonna get through this. " She pulls back and puts her hand on my heart " If you ever feel alone, don't, because I will always be right here by your side....when u miss me just close ur eyes and u are gonna feel me touching you, comforting you."
At this point I couldn't control myself anymore and I was sobbing uncontrollably.

"Shhh it's okay, it's gonna be okay" she says as she pulls me in her embrace again.

"I love you... I wish I had said it more"
"I love you too....never ever forget that."I hear her say as she fades aways taking my heart with her and leaving me with only our memories.

I thought I was really holding her for a moment there before it hits me again that she is no longer here.

Cancer took her away from me one month ago but my baby was the strongest human ever till the end, and i am proud of her.

"Till we meet again, baby." I say as i lay my head on her grave again feeling her around me,holding me... just as she said.
