I landed in Los Angeles Wednesday morning. The view was incredible before we landed; nothing I had ever seen before.

Following the baggage claim and exiting the airport, I walk to the car waiting outside to head to the hotel. When I get to the hotel, I sign in and take to the elevator to my room. I unpack and decided to go around and explore the city before the shoot tomorrow.

I visit multiple stores and cafes, which is nice to fuel my coffee addiction. After a few hours, I was able to meet a lot of amazing people, eat food I'd never tried before and purchase several souvenirs for my flight home Saturday. I have dinner then go back to my hotel room to sleep off my exhaustion from all the exciting things I did.

The next morning, I prep my cameras and ring lights for my 12:30 photo session. I'm starting to get really nervous since I never got a portfolio or the name of my client. What if they are a real bitch and don't cooperate with me? What if they hate how I take my photos? I shake off my anxiety and start heading to the address my assistant had provided me.

I arrive at the residence and ring the doorbell. When the door was starting to open, I am surprised at who I see in front of me.

"Bailey?!?! What...what are you doing here?"

"Umm, nice to see you too! I live here. You're doing my photoshoot!"

"Sorry, didn't mean to come off like that. I just wasn't expecting you as my client. Well, you look stunning though!"

I look at her up and down in disbelief: her white jacket, her purple plaid skirt, her everything. She's amazing.

"Why thank you, would you like to come in?"

"Yes, please! I'm beyond excited to see your setup!"

We walk together to her photo room and it's incredible. Lockers, fake classrooms, chalkboards and other props create a school theme for her setup.

"Bailey, I gotta say, this is amazing! What's the context of your upcoming song, if I may ask?"

"It surrounds around me and my personal life when I've had "friends" find new friends and treat me like a second choice."

"Well, I wish you the best of luck and I'm so sorry you have had to go through that."

She smiles slightly and suggests to me that we get going with the shoot. After a few hours of camera clicking, adjusting lights and changing photo locations, we finally come to the end of the session. I start to close my camera when Bailey stops me.

"Wait! Can I see? I want to make sure these pictures are absolutely perfect for my big release day.!

"Of course!" as I place my camera into her tattooed-covered hands.

After a couple of minutes of scrolling through all the images, tears start forming in Bailey's eyes, which start to scare me a bit until I feel her arms around me.

"OH MY GOD Y/N!!!! These are incredible! I can't thank you enough for how beautiful these pictures came out."

I start blushing from all the compliments about my work.

"You're so welcome! I'm happy I was able to provide good enough service for such an important and exciting event in your life!"

I hand Bailey my card before I leave which has my phone number on it so she would have a trustworthy person to come to help her with photos when she needs it in the future. I pack up my car and start pulling out of the driveway, noticing Bailey vigorously waving goodbye.
