𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐢𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭...

Getting to Know Each Other...

Friday morning, a dimmed screen with "Unknown" was buzzing on my nightstand. I answer the phone, not knowing who to expect at the end of the line.

"y/n?"

"Bailey? Need a second photoshoot already?" I start laughing a little afterwards.

I can hear her smile before she responds.

"No no, nothing like that. I was actually calling to see if you wanted to meet up later and grab a bite to eat or something. You see, I really enjoyed doing the photo session together yesterday and wanted to learn more about you."

Now this I wasn't expecting.

"Yeah! That sounds amazing! What did you have in mind so we could meet?"

"I was thinking you drive over, we take my car and we talk over a cup of coffee," she suggests.

I smile when I hear the word "coffee" slip out of her mouth.

"Sounds perfect! I'll be at your place in like 25 to 30 minutes"

"See you soon!"

When I arrive at Bailey's house around 11:45, I hopped in her car and we started heading on our little adventure. Before stopping for coffee, Bailey and I went to multiple clothing stores to get a better sense of each other's aesthetics and personalities.

For coffee, we both settled on Starbucks. After ordering our drinks, we sat down and started talking.

"So, tell me about you! What's your life like?" Bailey says as she slowly sips her drink.

"Well, I graduated high school and then went to college to get a degree in Photography. I started my own agency three years ago and it's been going so well since!!" I reply not knowing what else to talk about. "I also have travelled to many places around the world. I've been to Paris, Amsterdam, Greece and Ireland. I don't know really know what else to say about me. What's your story." I ask intensively as Bailey squirms in her chair.

"Oh me? Ummm..... high school was a bit of a rough time. I would be getting bullied constantly and I was never able to have any strong relationships. After graduating and applying to college, I eventually dropped out to pursue different things I had planned. I started doing POVs on TikTok and gained a bit of a following. I only ever started it for entertainment purposes. In April of this year, I released my debut single "Romance is Dead" which was a huge accomplishment for me."

She pauses before continuing.

"Ok, that's enough rambling for me. I don't want to bore you."

"I gotta say, you are incredible and definetly not boring. You have a second single coming and you have so much waiting for you in the future!"

She smiles awkwardly and starts blushing a little. I don't think she realizes enough how much she has complished in her life so far. I'm only her photographer and I'm already so so proud of her.

"Thank you y/n, that means a lot!"

We leave Starbucks at 2:30 and start to head to the car. On our way to the car, I spot in the window of a store that I can't resist buying for Bailey. I tell her to wait outside and she does so. I walk into the small shop and pick up a little trophy that reads "You're doing Amazing <3". I purchase the little award then hand it over to her before we start driving. She smiles so big I thought her jaw was gonna break.

So far during my trip in L.A, Bailey has been the best thing that has come out of it <3
