Oh man, I'm so excited! It's the moment of truth, the graduation of Ziobliss Knight Academy.

"Leo! Come down!"

A friend calls for me, hold on, I need to check myself in the mirror first. My fiery red hair? Check, white shirt? Check! I'm ready to go! I walked down the stairs as my friend was waiting for me.

"Sorry Will, I was just checking something before we left." Willard, my friend. He is probably the smartest person I know, his blue hair and glasses stick out the most. Some could say he's just a nerd.

Will grabbed my shoulder, "Did you just insult me?"

"N-no?" Sometimes he just knows what I'm thinking.

"Well, whatever. Louis is waiting outside."

I laugh, "Ho~ Boy! I am so excited, we're finally graduating! I AM SO EXCITED!"

Will covers his ear, "I got it the first time."

Our other friend walks inside the house, "Geez, Leo. Do you have to be so loud? I could hear your voice from outside."

"Louise! But aren't you excited? We're finally able to graduate and join up with the knights! I hope we get to join the Royal Knights."

Louise has long green hair as she turns around, "As if, at best we would be lucky to join up with Border Stationed Knights, have you heard their salary?"

"Hey, don't forget Instructor Telton told us to bring our weapons."

I snapped my fingers, "That's right! The tradition."

Louise sighed, "I can't...I don't use a weapon."

Will nods, "I'm not efficient with a sword myself, but it's the only one I can use."

"GUYS! Hurry up!" I shout from the outside waving for them to come along

They both looked at each other, smiled and followed me. Along the way, outside the academy gates someone stopped us. It was Preston, that kid with the yellow hair and a bitch of an attitude.

He stared down at me with his 3 idiot friends as he smirked, "You should be glad to even graduate."

Will stood up for me, "And what's it to you Preston?"

Preston shook his head, "You have the priglived to graduate, but no ones going to accept you, commoners. I will rise my ranks, I and of noble blood after all. See you later losers."

Preston then turns around and moves along... Despite everything Preston says I never saw him take any action.

Louise cracked her fist, "Ugh! Preston just pisses me off. Just because we're from a poor village."

Will pushes his glasses, "Preston Palmer, he is a special case. Despite the war ending nobles as a whole only four remain as the Emperor's guardian Noble houses."

I point out, "We learned this in history, Umm... Umm..."

Louse took over, "House Le Dome, House Vellot, House Armford and finally House Palmer."

"Yeah that! I was going to say that!"

Will sighed, "How did you graduate... Anyways, we're going to be late."

"Ack! Let's run!"

We quickly dashed back inside the academy, where everyone who would graduate were all gathered up in the stadium waiting for the Headmaster to come up and give us a final speech. He finally walked up and started talking, when he was done Instructor Telton walked up the main stage.
