Xie Meiying was born August 9th.
Both Xie lian and Hua cheng agreed that Puqi shrine was not where they wanted to raise their child and decided to make Paradise Manner their main residence.
Xie lian and Hua cheng had just made it home and were still pretty shaky. They were afraid that if they held Xie Meiying too tightly she would break, but if they didn't hold her tight enough she would fall and bust her head.
Xie Lian and Hua Cheng had tried to sit down and figure out what they would need to take care of a baby months before Xie Meiying was born, but didn't know what a baby would need. Xie lian tried to ask other heavenly officials for help but because none of them had taken care of children before they didn't know either. Hua Cheng was determined to figure it out on his own though continuously telling Xie Lian "Gege shouldn't stress over such things, I will handle it.". Unfortunately though he never figured it out.
"Should we start with clothes?" Xie Lian asked. "It's a good start, I'll go ask Yin yu to watch her while we go look at some shops!" Hua Cheng replied. Xie Lian wanted to keep little Xie Meiying safe and leave her at home but wasn't too keen on leaving her with someone else. It's not like Xie Lian doesn't trust Yin yu, he was just worried that if something happened he wouldn't be able to get back quick enough, and precious little Xie Meiying would get hurt! Hua Cheng had already started walking off when Xie Lian finally made up his mind "San lang! I... think we should bring her with us." Xie lian said as he squeezed Xie Meiying closer to his chest. "Of course! That would help with fitting."Hua cheng said as he turned around and led Xie Lian out the doors of Paradise Manner.
Xie Lian and Hua Cheng had only just started walking down the streets of Ghost City, but that didn't stop the citizens of Ghost City from pointing and staring, some saying things like "My lord has a child!?" And others saying "Oh look at Chengzhus Baby!! She is so cute!!" Xie Lian wasn't brothered but it seemed like Hua cheng was.
After walking for a couple minutes they finally arrived at a shop that sells clothes. They left with a handful of clothing for Xie Meiying. As they were walking back home Xie lian watched Xie Meiying yawn and thought for a minute. "Where is she going to sleep?".
