It was a hot summer day in South Central LA, but that was normal down here. All the little kids were at the pool, making something out of living in the hood. I couldn't be mad at them either, the apartment's pool was probably all they had for the summer and despite them filling it with dirt, saliva, and piss they were genuinely having fun.
Something I haven't done in years.

"Nigga why you staring at them kids, you weird as hell man." My best friend Royce said while smacking the back of my head.

"I was just thinking like damn, that used to be us Royce, we used to be them dirty, ashy ass, niggas flirting with baby hoochies at the pool." I sighed.

"Nigga, if we don't start this song before 1, we not gon' finish it before next friday ." He said while gripping my shoulder.

"Aight, my bad, let's do it." I shook my head.

"I wasn't dirty or ashy either nigga that was yo' dark ass." He said referring to my dark brown skin.

"Whatever nigga, put the beat on." I laughed before putting the headphones on my head over my small afro.

He turned the beat on but it was just the instrumental of "Piru Love" by Bloods & Crips.

I scooted closer to the mic while bobbing my head to the smooth beat.

"Hey baby, it's just me and my nigga royce, us over your nigga that shouldn't even be a choice, come fuck with us we'll have you drippin, slippin, all wet and moist, all the bitches know it's me when they hear my sexy voice." I free-styled off the dome.

It wasn't as good as one of my written 4 bars would've been, but it was okay for a freestyle.

Royce already chose to sing on the hook, we both had a good voice but his was more trained and fit for this type of beat.

"Run it back." I shook my head.

He deleted those 4 bars and restarted the beat, so I opened my notebook to the first page and just read off what I had on there.

"If you fuck with me you know you fucking with a P, baby don't let any nigga bang you just for free, 'cause pussy powerful have niggas begging on they knees, now that's a way to get this money and stack up a G." I rapped bar for bar.

"Hoochie mama on me, but she smell like Bologna, all them kids in her house got her smelling funky, and that's a bitch I would never ever ever fuck, cause baby daddy drama ain't for me i'll fuck him up." I continued making Royce chuckle lowly.

I continued my verse until it was Royce's turn to sing the hook.

I always rapped about pimping women, or fucking hoochie mamas, but I wasn't even that type of guy. It was just something funny for the people to ride to.
