ohhh god where do i start. first of all, i'd like to thank everyone who believed in me from the start. all the friends who have listened to me ramble and get these ideas on paper in the first place. i don't think this story would be here if i didn't have any of my friends.

i'd like to thank my best friend, jay, who doesn't have wattpad but deserves to be acknowledged anyways. he's my biggest cheerleader with everything i do, and he's always happy to listen to my rants, even if he doesn't know what i'm talking about.

to my little writing group on discord, i don't know what i'd do without your support. you guys have been here since i was rewriting chapter one about seven times trying to get it right. your support and advice and cheerleading has been immeasurable, and i can't thank you all enough.

and of course, my bootcamp mentor LigiaNunes, you have been a total life saver. you've given me so much valuable insight and it makes my day to see your comments and observations about the story! i've admired your work for a while now, and i'm so honored that you took a chance on little ol' me to help me make this story shine. even if i don't win anything from this story, even if this remains an undiscovered wattpad gem, every moment i've had working with you is worth it more than you know.

i want to thank all of you, too, all of my dedicated readers who stuck through this to the end. whether you're a silent reader, or you only vote, or you comment on every chapter, your support means the world to me. if this story only reaches a the few of you who've read this, i hope it touches you as it has touched me.

and lastly, i'd like to thank myself for getting this far. it was hard, but i made it happen, and i couldn't be more proud.
