Benito tossed the blankets off of him in the New York hotel room. He was naked and reached for his pants. He hurriedly took them off, so his briefs were still inside them. Sweat fell down the side of his face. Attached to the closet door in front of him was a full-body mirror. In the reflection, he saw Gabriela sleeping behind him. Her tan back faced him as the sunlight seeped through the blinds, highlighting her brown hair.
They did it again. They fought. They stalked each other. They had sex. They blocked each other.
The last time, Benito was the crazy one calling her over and over. She was back in PR out of the blue. She left her LA home one night and suddenly posted that she was at the airport at 2 in the morning.
She had an ex-boyfriend back home. She knew him from high school. Benito didn't like him at all. So when she landed in PR, she was surprised to see Benito waiting for her at the gate.
They argued in the parking lot. He accused her of wanting to get back with her lowlife of an ex, her little jevo from back home. She denied and denied. After arguing for hours, they had sex.
"Beni..." Gabriela whispered before they fell asleep together that night. The silk sheets were humid with their sweat. "We can't be seen fighting in public like that. My publicist told me I can't have any more bad publicity."
He brought her closer to his chest. Her face lay comfortably by his neck, and his fingers played with her long hair. "Mi amor, there's no such thing as bad publicity."
Benito left PR. She blocked him. Repeat.
There was no end in sight to their merry-go-round of passion. He wasn't sure if he wanted to get off the ride, either.
He looked at the time on his phone. His flight back to LA was in a few hours.
He opened Instagram and typed a username in the search bar. There was one thing left on his mind he had to do.
Gabriela stirred awake. He heard her groan and stretch her body. He turned around, pulled back down his pants, and joined her on the mattress.

Melina was enjoying a coffee in a bakery before her flight. She had large sunglasses on and a beanie. It was much colder in New York than LA, so she could get by easier without being spotted.
She brought her caramel latte to her lips when an unexpected Instagram notification appeared on her screen.
