I grabbed Becky's arm and rushed her outside of the manor. With a forceful push, she stumbled and fell to the ground.

All eyes were on us—the guards, maids, and even my personal guards. Cinque ran towards me while Tre helped Becky up.

"LEAVE!" I shouted at her. "I never want to see your face again!"

"Why?" Becky asked, confused, scanning the surroundings. "What did I do this time?" she inquired.

"F, we don't have enough evidence," Tre tried to defend Becky, but I shot him a glare.

"Are you one of those fools who think this is all a foolish act? It's not, Tre! It was murder!" I yelled at him as well.

Becky furrowed her eyebrows and glanced at Tre, seeking an explanation for what had transpired.

It frustrated me. Why was she pretending to be innocent when we all knew she was the only one here with knowledge of Digoxin toxicity? She had even poisoned herself before, and she was only fortunate because I saw her.

"Freen, I don't know what you're talking about. I didn't murder anyone. I'm here at your manor every day, and everyone can vouch for me," Becky explained, but I chose not to listen.

Becky reached out for my hand, but I pushed her away. She stumbled into Tre, and as I turned to leave, she grasped my arms and knelt before me, tears streaming down her face.

"Don't be fooled by her tears, F," Cinque whispered.

"Stop pretending to be innocent, Becky," I said. "I don't know why I'm still holding onto the belief that you would never betray me, even with all the evidence staring me in the face."

Becky shook her head, sobbing harder as she clasped her hands together. Seeing her like that made me reconsider, but I shook my head again.

"F, all the evidence doesn't point to her," Tre defended her once more. I glared at him and motioned for him to leave my sight. He lowered his head.

I noticed Cinque smirking, but Tre didn't follow me. He stood behind Becky, causing me to roll my eyes.

"If you truly want to be by her side, then go ahead. Stay with her forever," I told Tre, turning away.

However, Becky hugged me from behind, causing me to halt in my tracks.

"I'm innocent, Freen. I promise. I didn't do anything to anyone. I have no idea what you're talking about," she cried onto my shoulders. "Please, don't do this to me."

"I wish you were innocent, Becky. But you're not, and we all know it," I whispered, gently removing her hands. However, she continued to embrace me, and I had no choice but to push her away and snatch Cinque's gun from her side, pointing it at Becky.

Everyone was shocked by my actions, except for Becky. She locked eyes with me.

"Leave, Becky. Be thankful that I won't sever your ties completely," I muttered.

Becky attempted to approach me, but Tre scooped her up onto his shoulder and carried her away. She struggled, but Tre didn't stop until they were out of sight.

Tears streamed down my face as I dropped the gun onto the floor.

"F," Cinque approached me and allowed me to rest in her arms. "Sometimes, you have to let go of certain people in your life to find peace of mind."

Tre returned late in the evening and visited me in my office. He seemed unwilling to discuss Becky, and I could tell he was upset by my actions.

"I understand why you wanted Becky to stay here," I said, even though he kept his gaze fixed on the floor. "Don't worry, even without her here, I won't harm Cinque."

"That's not it, F," he finally spoke, his voice slightly raised. "We aren't certain if Becky was the culprit. Your anger took control of you once again."

I chuckled at his words. "So, what do you expect me to do? Fool myself again?"

"You're not a fool, Freen. We both know that," he said. "As your foster brother, I'm here to take care of you and guide you every step of the way. I don't want to see you like this, Freen."

My brows furrowed. "What do you mean?" I asked.

"I can see the pain in your eyes. I know you didn't want to make Becky leave. We both know she's someone who relieves your stress. She's your strength, Freen. Why are you doing this to yourself?" he questioned. "Remember those days when you were searching for her, crying every night, fearing Becky had forgotten you? Remember when you asked me to find her and ensure her safety? What happened to that Freen?" he scolded me.

I looked away and let out a sigh.

"I've taken her somewhere you won't find her. She's safe there. Don't ever pursue her again if you're only going to push her away once more," Tre turned his back and slammed the door shut.

It weighed heavily on me too. But if Becky didn't do it, then who did? She's the only suspect that comes to mind.
