y/n never meant to fall in love.
especially not with a girl.
but she was too hard to resist.
-
"okay, i know it's the last day of school, but that doesn't mean you don't have any work!" yelled mrs beckham.
everyone in the room stopped chatting immediately. mrs beckham never yelled.
"now, i want you to get into a pair and at least complete questions one to five." said the teacher, returning to her desk and sipping her coffee that lingered in her breath.
y/n sat silently, whilst other people got into a pair. she didn't speak up much, because she was so shy, so she didn't expect anyone to be her partner, which was fine; she didn't mind working alone.
"hey, do you wanna be partners?" asked a soft voice. y/n could have mistaken that voice for an angel's. she looked up, and came face to face with the prettiest girl, or person, she had ever seen.
no, that's not right. you can't be thinking about her like that. she's a girl.
"o-oh, sure." she smiled as the redheaded beauty sat next to her.
"i'm beverly marsh." she said, smiling, her big blue eyes shining in the glistening sunlight coming from the windows.
"i'm y/n y/ln." said y/n, smiling back.
she could've sworn she'd heard that name before.she just couldn't put her finger on it.
"so, what are your hobbies?" asked beverly. y/n got the feeling that they weren't going to complete any work that lesson, but for once, she felt like that was okay. she didn't worry about her mom being mad at her, in fact, she didn't worry about anything.
"umm, i like reading-
"holy shit, me too! what books do you like?"
"i like matilda." said y/n sheepishly. she was embarrassed that she was reading "children's" books. but she related to the book a lot, which was why she liked it so much.
"i do too! do you mind if i borrow a peice of paper?" asked beverly, y/n noticed how she was fidgeting with her rings. she found it adorable.
"yeah, o-of course." she said, feeling her cheeks heating up.
she watched as beverly wrote something down, before folding the peice of paper and handing it to her. they smiled at eachother, and y/n felt as if there were millions of butterflies, dancing happily to a nice song, in her stomach.
unexpectedly, the bell rang, startling y/n. beverly began to pack up her stuff, as did y/n.
"i have to go, my dad won't like it if i'm back late. see you soon, y/n." she smiled and waved, y/n waved back, and opened up the note.
