Me, Harry, Ron and Hermione were all sitting in one of the train compartments as the trolley woman came round

"Anything from the trolley dears?" She asked

"Not today thanks" Ron said and Harry got up to have a look at the items.

"Two pumpkin pasties please" Cho Chang said from behind the trolley and I could see in Harry's eyes that he liked her.

He came and sat back down and Hermione began talking about things from the paper.

I got up to go the the bathroom and I walked past the open cabin areas. Draco and his friends were sitting at one.

I wanted to know why he helped me at the World Cup, and why he was still there after everyone had gone.

I wasn't going to ask now tho in front of his friends so I just kept on walking to the bathroom.

When I got back to the compartment Harry was writing a letter to our godfather Sirius.

"What are you writing to him about?" I asked

"The night of the World Cup" he said dipping his quill in ink as he began writing.

Once he was done he handed the letter to his owl hedwig and she flew off out the window to deliver it.

The train pulled in at Hogwarts and everyone rushed over to see a carriage being pulled in the air by peaguses and Hagrid directing for it to land.

Next a large ship burst out of the water sending large waves to the shore and everyone watched in amazement.

We all filed into the great hall and I took a seat next to my best friend pansy Parkinson and Theodore nott.

" I have an announcement to make" Dumbledore began booming out to us all

"This castle will not only be your home this year, but home to some very special guests as well"

"You see, Hogwarts has been chosen to host the Triwizard tournament"

"Now please join me in welcoming the lovely ladies of the Beaubatons academy of magic, and their headmistress Madame Maxine"

The great hall doors swung open and the ladies came in dancing down the centre of the room finishing at the front of the room. We all clapped and Dumbledore began speaking again.

"Now please join me in welcoming the proud sons of durmstrang and their high master igor kargarof"

Another crowd of people came pouring in stomping sticks onto the floor and began sprinting down the hall before stopping at the front.

Everyone began whispering as viktor krum had also come along with durmstrang.

Dumbledore and igor shook hands and they all took seats at the professors table.

Filch brought in a large golden item and sat it down at the front of the hall.

"I would like to say a few words about the tournament, the three contestants who are chosen will have to complete 3 dangerous tasks and beacuse they are so dangerous the ministry had come up with a rule that nobody under the age of 17 may submit themselves" Dumbledore stated

I heard Fred and George cry out "that's rubbish!"

The ceiling suddenly began thundering and raining and a wizard standing at the side of the room cast a charm to stop it.

"That's mad eye moody" Theo said in disbelief as the man made his way over to Dumbledore

"Thank you for coming" Dumbledore said greeting the man

"Now please join me in welcoming your new defence against the dark arts, professor moody" Dumbledore said gesturing to the man.

Dumbledore lifted his wand and the golden case began to slowly disappear revealing a silver goblet inside and a blue flame formed inside

"The goblet of fire, anyone wishing to submit themselves for the tournament must write there name on a piece of parchment and throw it onto the fire before this hour Thursday night" Dumbledore finally finished and let us eat our dinner.

"Who do you think will submit themselves?" Pansy asked "I don't know" Theo replied eating some of the dessert.

"It's cool that hogwarts has been chosen tho isn't it" Theo said again "I guess" i replied to him and finished my plate.

"I'm gonna go unpack" I said getting up from the table and heading to the Slytherin common room.

I mumbled the password and headed to my dorm. I had my own as all the others were full up.

My trunk and owl had already been brought up.

I let my black owl opal out of the cage and she flew over to the window perching on the side of it.

I finished unpacking a few hours later and decided to go and see Harry.

I reached the Gryffindor common room door and said to the fat lady that I wanted to see my brother and she went off to get him.

A few minutes later she returned and the door opened Harry waiting for me.

"Y/n? Is everything alright?" He asked letting me in, the others in there gave me dirty looks as I was a slytherin but didn't say anything.

"Everything's fine I just thought I'd come and see you" I said taking a seat next to Hermione on the sofa.

We talked for a few hours until I realised it was past curfew and snuck back into the empty common room.

Well almost empty there was one person in there. Draco.

"Where were you so late?" He asked turning to face me

"With my brother what's it to you?" I asked

"Just being curious as your coming back late" he replied

"What about you why are you down here?" I asked back

"Couldn't sleep" he replied and I sat down next to him

"Can I ask you something?" I asked

"If you must" he replied

"Why did you help me the night of the World Cup?" I asked

"Because you looked lost and we're clearly scared" he replied

"But why help me? You hate me" I said back

"I don't hate you y/n and deep down you know that, you have no idea how I feel" he said

"Ok so tell me then" I said back

"No" he replied

"Then don't complain when I don't know how you feel" I sneered at him

He just looked into my eyes before he grabbed my face and started kissing me passionately.

I didn't fight it, in fact I kissed him back.

I pulled away, "what was that for?" I asked

"That's your answer" he said hastily

"To what?" I asked

"How I feel" he said getting up and walking towards the stairs

"You don't know the affect you have on me" he added as he walked up to his dorm

I did the same and curled up under my sheets.

I couldn't like Draco malfoy, could I?
