T H I R T E E N

I shoved the heavy doors open and the hall fell silent everyone staring and whispering at me.

They were all looking at the blood and cuts I was covered with.

I stood there as Harry got up and ran to
Me flinging his arms around me tightly.

"Y/n oh my god I thought you were dead! Your covered in cuts and blood are you ok?!" He said quickly as he looked over my sore body.

The professors got up looking shocked and rushed over

"Miss potter, can you tell me what happened" Dumbledore asked coming over

"Voldemort is back, i barely escaped but I did" I half lied

"What did he do to you!?" Harry asked

"He used multiple curses on me including the unforgiving ones" i replied shuddering at the memories

"Let's get you to Madame pomfrey" Mc gonagall said taking me to the infirmary.

I held onto them both as we walked to the infirmary.

"Merlin's beard! Miss potter!" She exclaimed as her and McGonagall layed me down on a bed.

She examined my wounds and gave me a healing potion to drink every day before she let me go.

I made my way to the slytherin common room where pansy, Blaise, Theo and Draco were sat on the couches.

Pansy got up and ran to hug me. "Thank god your alive!" She said squeezing me tight

She let go and I walked over to the couches.

I could feel Draco looking at me but I didn't look back.

I hugged Theo before heading up to my dorm to clean off.

I pulled some clean clothes out of my wardrobe and layed them down on my bed whilst I hopped in the shower.

The hot water stung my open wounds as it ran down my sore body.

I washed the dried blood off me and washed my hair.

I wrapped up in a warm towel as I dried my hair with a spell.

I came back out into my room throwing on the tracksuit I had gotten out earlier and climbed into bed.

I was exhausted.

I snuggled down under the covers and fell asleep almost instantly.

I woke up early the next day and decided to pack my stuff up as it was the last day of term.

I stuffed it all into my trunk and headed to the great hall for breakfast.

People still stared and whispered as I sat down next to pansy.

We were the only two of our friends there.

"Morning" she said pouring me a glass of water

"Morning, thanks" I said taking a sip of it

"How are you feeling?" She asked

"Better but still a bit sore" I replied

"At least it's summer after today so you don't have to worry about school" she said

"I guess but I still have to deal with the Dursley's"
I said with a groan

"You'll have your brother at least" she shrugged

"Still it's not pleasant" I replied as the boys came and joined us

I filled my plate up with food and began eating, I was starving after not eating for a few days.

I was still avoiding looking or talking to Draco.

I didn't want To because I knew he would want to talk about how we ended.

I didn't want to think about anything to do with boys.

I walked back to the common room with pansy and we parted ways as she went into her dorm and I went into mine.

I let my owl out the window as the train stresses her and she prefers to fly.

I lifted my trunk with a levitation charm and pulled it along the corridors to the boats to the train.

Theo and blaise were there waiting for a boat so I got into one with them.

We got onto the train and found and empty compartment to sit in.

I sat down next to Theo as blazon put our trunks in the spaces above the seats.

Draco, pansy and Astoria joined us about 10 minutes later.

Once everyone was on the train it set of for London.

The others began a conversation but I didn't join in. I was watching out the window thinking about what next year was going to be like.

It was all consuming my mind keeping me occupied for the whole journey.

Theo gave me a little tap once we arrived and helped me get my trunk down.

We got off the train and everyone began their goodbyes.

"I should go find Harry" I said as I hugged pansy goodbye

"See you soon!" She called as I walked off to find Harry.

I found him talking to the Weasley's and Hermione.

He said goodbye and turned to me as we left the busy station.

We dragged our trunks down the road to a bus stop where we got onto one of the buses.

We sat down and didn't speak the whole journey back.

The bus pulled into our stop and we heaved our trunks off.

We walked up to the house and I rang the doorbell.

Vernon answered the door.

"Oh it's you two, get in" he said miserably

We hurried in and took our trunks up to our room.

We shared a small room. It was Dudley's second room that they let us have as the cupboard just wasn't working as we got older.

We went back down stairs where we were instructed to start dinner, which we did.

We were doing burgers.

Double patty for Dudley and triple for Vernon.

Fat pigs.

We served them their food and tucked into ours.

Me and Harry were having half a burger each with a sprinkle of chips.

We finished up our dinner and served the Dursley's their thick slices of gooey chocolate cake.

Once they were done we cleared the table and headed up to our room.

We unpacked our trunks into our shared wardrobe and sat ontop of our beds.

Harry began reading and I watched outside the window like I had done on the train.

I could feel my dark mark burning beneath my skin and I tried my best to ignore it.

6 weeks until I could leave this house.
