Start After about 5 minutes of swinging, the spider heroes finally reached the Williamsburg Bank. And just like before they began to walk along the clock tower. Nobody had spoken yet, so the question was, who will break the ice first? Both Gwen and Miles walk below the ledges and sit upside down. "So, how did the whole explaining to your dad you're Spider-Man go?" Miles just looked around before answering. "Well, when I saw him running towards the collapsing building to save the girl, I knew it was now or never. So you know. Me yelling out 'dad' kinda gives it all away. Plus, I think he slowly began to piece it all together due to our many many close calls." The boy began to chuckle a little bit, remembering the 'maybe if you got off his ass conversation. And Spider-Man, why did you create that guy'. "But the funniest part was, he also figured out you're a spider too. Especially when you appeared at our apartment, I heard you promised them you would bring me home."
Gwen playfully punched Miles right shoulder as they both began to laugh. She wondered how the man felt about her now. Their first few interactions definitely weren't the best. But she felt as if she redeemed herself, fulfilling her promise of bringing their son home. "Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the part where she told me you would be grounded for 5 months." Gwen smirked towards the boy as he put his head down. He completely forgot about being grounded in the first place, and the whole disappearing for 2 days certainly didn't make his case much better. Makes worse the fact his dad had already grounded him for 2 months previously.
Just rubbing his nose trying to think. "I have no idea how I'm going to explain to my mama I'm Spider-Man. That's assuming my dad didn't tell her already. But knowing him, he's gonna want me to do it myself." Even after saving the day, Miles still can't win. "If it helps.." She spoke softly before slowly moving her hand towards Miles. "I could be there with you.." Her hand finally touched Miles before he grabbed hers back. Their fingers intertwined. Miles just stared at her in the eyes. "Yeah, I would like that." Before Miles could react, Gwen quickly grabbed the collar of his suit, pulling him towards her with both of them facing one another.
She quickly pressed her lips against his. Miles always thought about how his first kiss would be, and after the collider incident, he was hoping it would be in Gwen. But this, it was better than he could have ever imagined, or drew. Her soft lips made him feel as if he was in heaven. For the both of them, it felt like love was in the air. Gwen felt like placing his right hand on her face. After a minute, they both backed off needing air to breath, but couldn't stop staring at each other. They had their first taste of teenage romance.
"You know Miles, I was waiting to do that for a very long time." Miles had a very slight blush on his face. "Me too. But why didn't you do it sooner?" He added on. "After all, 'Gwen Stacy and Spider-Man' doesn't work well. And being told that you were an anomaly..." She stopped her words right there, although he didn't say it, in his eyes Gwen could tell he was hurt hearing those words spoken to him. It made him feel useless, like a waste of space. Using her freed left hand she grabbed Miles' other hand. "But that doesn't matter anymore, we're bound to fall in love. Even if destiny says otherwise." Miles felt like he was dreaming himself.
The woman of his dreams was talking about them falling in love. "But what if something happens to you?" He spoke softly almost as if he was speaking to himself. "Trust me Miles, I know you enough to know you wouldn't let that happen." Both just stared at each other there for a bit. Before Miles put their foreheads together. Gwen sighed before asking the dreaded question she had been needing an answer for. "So, what are we?" Miles smirked before responding to her. "We're definitely dating now. But before confirming it, you definitely need to talk to my parents again. And not call them by their first name." Gwen turned away feeling a bit embarrassed. "Okay okay, I'll make a good impression, I promise. The third time around." Miles raised his eyebrow.
"What do you mean by a third time?" Miles asked. "Well uhhhhh, remember how I told you I went back to your house to talk to your parents? I kind of wore your jacket...and entered your apartment from your window...and your dad called me emo." So many thoughts were running through Miles' brain. His crush is his girlfriend wearing his jacket. 'She definitely looked hot wearing it.' He thought to himself, but decided to focus on the important part. His dad called her an emo. "Okay I'll talk to him about the emo part. Can't have him disrespecting his future daughter in law." Miles smirked before leaping off the building, pressing down onto his web shooters as he began to swing across the ceiling. "Follow me Slowpoke!" Gwen couldn't help but smile at her man. "Oh the love I have for this boy." Before eventually following his lead swinging to his home.writing your story
