Soteria, the Greek Goddess of Safety and Protection.

But in this day and age, when people who possessed blessings known as quirks used them for the greater good, the Goddess wasn't the first one that came to mind when the name was mentioned.

No, it was the hero.

L/N Y/N.

Y/N, who was blessed with a quirk that could protect all those Y/N loved. Since her father and younger brother were both quirkless, it had always been up to Her mother and Y/N to protect the family from any harm. Her mother was a retired hero, known as Joule after her ability to manipulate energy into constructs. As a child, Y/N would awe at her work, hoping that whenever Y/N got a quirk it would be one powerful enough to protect the ones Y/N loved.

Which is why, when Y/N knocked on her brother's apartment door, the hero nearly couldn't bring herself to say the things she needed to.

Leaving one of the closest people to her for multiple months, with no contact was pure hell. Of course, what worsened it was that Y/N regularly had near death experiences, many of which were broadcasted on national television. Each time, her parents and brother knew that she was alive, because that part would be shown as well.
