As it was my first day back at Sherman Oaks, I wasn't suspecting anything special. I hated everyone and everyone hated me. I guess you could say I'm not popular. I look to see Devi and her little group giggling and laughing. I glare at her then return to my locker.
Suddenly, Ethan Morales, a boy apart of the 'Hot Pocket' aka the hottest group in school, walks up to me. "Hey you're that girl named Lucille? Right?" He asks. I looked behind him and saw all of his friends laughing as they watch him talk to me. "What do you want?" I ask. He laughs. "Wow, you aren't social at all." I put on a straight face. "Well the Hot Pocket is usually here to make fun of me." I shut my locker. He smirks again. "Aww," He laughs a little bit. "You can't be that bad looking." He then gets serious. "They just hate the things they don't understand." "I wish I could believe that" I say with a sarcastic smile. He notices the sarcastic smile. "You'll eventually find someone who doesn't mind your weirdness." He smiles at you. "I'm one of them." He holds out his hand. "I'm Ethan," he repeats. I shake your hand. "Lucille." "Nice name." He smiles a little bit "So what do you like to do on weekends Lucille?" "Why do you wanna know? So you can tell the rest of the shitty hot pocket? Hm?" I look at him. He smirks. "Trust me, I'm not like the other guys. But, I can see your defensive. I won't ask again," He laughs. "See you around." He walks away with his hand on the back of his neck. I scoff. "That's what they all say." I walk into class.
