That One Incident

Chapter 11

RECAP:*beep* The images were so vivid she feel as if she was there, they run through her head as if they were trying to distort her from even feeling a single sympathy for what happened. *beep*Kelly was so distracted by what was going on in her, she was no longer paying attention to where she was heading.*beeeeep*-she opened her eyes wide open to see a quick dash of bright red light coming her way.*car crash sounds*Everyone went to check what just happened.

Person #3:
(loud noise of a car door slamming) Is she dead!? Did I kill someone!?" with a trembling voice the person said.

Person #4:"MAN! Were you not looking where you were driving?" With a high-pitched tone said the person.

Chapter 11: The Accident*Ambulance sound*

Rescue arrived and carefully transferred Kelly into a stretcher. In the ambulance, the nurse checked Kelly's vitals, seeing that it was weak, the nurse administered oxygen and dextrose to try and stabilize the vitals. Once her breathing and pulse stabilized, the nurse sat down to cool himself down. To be able to arrive at the hospital as quickly as possible, the ambulance took a shortcut and went to the newly made emergency space, in a tunnel underneath the highway road.

Just when everything was going alright, a sudden dash of bright light came. The entire car was so bright as if there were thousands of lights open making it difficult to see. Kelly was unconscious during this, the nurse kept yelling to try and alarm the driver, but it was quite odd, the driver wasn't able to hear the nurse at all. Seeing this, the nurse attempted to secure the patient first and then try to open the back door but before she could even secure Kelly, she was suddenly hit in the head. The nurse was knocked down unconscious.

Out of nowhere, a wolf appeared. It stared at Kelly's unconscious body and growled, it then started sniffing her as if it was trying to identify or know if she was someone. After a few moments, the wolf suddenly froze, it seemed to have realized something and then suddenly, it licked Kelly's face. After licking her face, the wolf stepped back and a fog of some kind surrounded it, not so long after, a hand appeared and the wolf had turned into a guy.

It stared into Kelly for a few moments and with a humbled look mumbled: "How lovely~". It then looked into a wide corner of the car and mumbled a few words "Through time and light, space and universe, a split of another be withered. Do not blink and do not fear, open a door so I could enter". In the middle, it seemed like a paper was being cut. The cut grew longer and when it reached a certain length, it widened. The guy slowly lifted Kelly and carried her, he then stepped into the portal but before he closed it, he uttered the words " In a world filled with foes, don't let anyone know. As it was before, nobody will know, a single soul will not know, be as it was as it usually goes". After saying those words, the portal slowly closed and so the man carrying Kelly disappeared.

after entering the portal, another realm can be seen not so far. The scene was as if it was the guy was walking on a translucent bridge. The place was covered with doors of some kind that leads to another universe or perhaps another realm, each door portrays what land it opens to and so it can be seen with different designs. As the guy walked in a pathway, many unusual figures of different cosmos can be seen. The place was a huge waterfall, there were plenty of other creatures like fairies, mermaids, pegasus, and even leprechauns. The entire place was filled with glimmering flowers and rainbows, but all of this was ignored by the man. He continued to walk on a straight path not caring about what was in that place, despite all of the songs from the mermaids, he did not move a muscle to look, he did not even dare to blink when the fairies were flying around him and encouraging him to play with them, he simply walked the translucent path.

After a few moments, a door can be seen not so far away, the door was covered with fur, blood, and pixies. The man slowly opened the door and entered without hesitation, and along with him, he carries the unconscious Kelly.

----------Meanwhile, on Earth----------

Everything is frozen, the cars, the humans, the birds, and even the kicked sand is not moving. While the objects inside the ambulance fly up in the air, some are dropped on the ground, the nurse remains unconscious due to the head injury caused by the man's hit. The driver of the ambulance stares into the midst, eyes open and with the right foot on the gas pedal. Slowly, the objects retracted, and they returned to where they originally were before Kelly was picked up. The car relocated in a flash and so was every single living and non-living object, everything rewound to where they were before the accident. The people who saw the accident went a few steps backward and the car that hit Kelly went a few kilometers back.

(Flash of light)

Nurse:"Hi! How can be of assistance to you?"

Patient:"Is Doc Dan around? I have an appointment with him."

Nurse:"Yes po. His office is right across the pediatrics department.*The patient left*

The nurse sat down for a moment, it then thought: "My head kinda hurts, I feel like a hit it with something. Am I forgetting something or-"

Patient:"Excuse me."

Nurse:"Hello! How can I be of help to you today?"

The nurse thought: "Nevermind, it's probably nothing." and continued to assist incoming patients. After a few moments, an ambulance came in.

---------At the highway----------

*Beeeeeep*

Person 1:
"OMG!!!"

Person 2:"Why wasn't he looking where she was going!?"

Person 3:*Rushed to the scene*"Is he okay? Somebody, please call an ambulance!"

Person 4:"Dude! Were you looking where you were heading?" Said in a high and angry tone.

Person 3:"I was! I swear! He just came out of nowhere!"

Person 5:
"Why didn't you hit the breaks?!"

Many people gathered around the patient, an individual even tried to ask if there were any doctors around. People swarmed around the patient before the ambulance arrive and loaded the patient in and rushed him to the hospital. A few moments later, it arrived at the hospital. The nurse ran towards it and assisted the paramedics.

It turns out, due to the spell cast by the man/wolf, the world rewound to a certain point in time before the accident. It erased the memories of everyone who saw the accident and put everything back into place and when the accident happened, a different person was involved. Not a single soul remembers anything about Kelly's accident but rather about the man that just got into one.
