Phillip's PoV

****************************

It was hard to believe I have been here for more than a month,

I was very comfortable and the people here were very nice, I have also gotten two 'Best Friends' as Harella calls it, she and Myren the vampire are my best friends,

they took very good care of me and taught me all I needed to know so I could live easily in this strange place,

Amiira had taught me a lot about the three plains and their core/ head kingdoms

Normandis was the core kingdom for Earth Plain, Celestia was for The Solar Plain, and Ellis was for The Lunar Plain,

Normandis was the Capital Kingdom where the Elemental Hall was built, ruled by the Aavender bloodline for centuries,

I just recently learned about the family, and I am not going to lie. Learning all of this by listening to Marcus go on for hours was so boring that I wanted to actually cry,

I prefered to read and understand on my own, if I needed help I would just ask, that little tidbit of information was just the tip of the iceburg and I do not want to go into detail,

I was now leaning against the window in the room they made up for me. Below was a beautiful garden with almost twenty different types of flowers, my favorite being the red roses,

I see the small figure of a girl with red hair walking about with a bucket plucking at some petals, and then the tall- Marcus?..., he walked up behind the unsuspecting girl and hugs her, I can only hear what they are saying a little but I hear never the less

  "Come to my room."

I see him caress her shoulders, then squeeze at her breasts,

  are they in love?,

I lean over a little more to hear

"yes your highness, but I must complete my chores before I can come to you."

she giggles when he leans heavily on her back, squeezing her tighter

  "Fine, but make it quick,"

he releases her and steps back, so I pull my head back inside and peek just a little to see if they are gone... and they are,

I wonder why they don't just get married or something, Amiira said that only people who are married do what I think they might be doing,

Before I can venture into the uncharted waters of my unscrupulous mind, I hear knocking on my door,

  "Come in."

ah?...but I thought?... wasn't he just with that lady?,

"Hello Phillip, I was just wondering what you were up to today?"

that's it?, I thought he was going to- with-, ...whatever,

"Nothing much, but I do want to know -"

  "yes!, what is it?"

"...I want to know how much you know so far?...about my origins?"

his beaming eyes dimmed slightly as he answered

"Oh... not much, we thought that assessing your powers or features would help, but so far, it seems you might just be that rogue witches powerless son."

I frown and sag a little in my seat,

all this time, I answered all the questions, went through countless assessments, both physical and metaphysical, and nothing,

everything seems so hopeless. Maybe Amiira truly is my mother, but why would she abandon me?

staring out the window, a rapidly growing tree catches my eyes

  "What is happening outside?"

I walk to the window, Marcus following me, and we see many troops standing at attention watching as the King stands directly in front of the now gigantic tree with his palms resting on the trunk,

"my father is setting up his own obsticle course again, they have to try and climb that tree within a certain time frame or else it would rapidly shrink if they are not on the ground by then"

sounds fun, I lean out further only to feel Marcus's breath on my neck, I suddenly spin only to come nose to nose with him,

  "Carefully now."

he chuckles, and I stare into his hazel eyes

"Why are you so close to me?"

I question him directly cause this is weird,

he leans away and brushes a stray lock out of my eye

  "Do you not like it?"

of course I don't!, but I only roll my eyes

"It makes me skittish. Don't do it again,"

he only smirks and turns to leave

"I will see you at dinner, yes?"

  "Yeah,"

without looking away from the field, I answer him

"You can go down there, you know. You just have to be careful not to get in their way,"

  I look to him

  "Really!?, can I go now?"

he opens the door wider, and I dash out wearing nothing but a large white shirt and knee-length trousers, I rush down the shining white marble and gold halls towards the great oak doors

"Where do you think you're going?"

  I halt at the voice,

"To the training grounds, ...I thought you would be there?"

I turn to Harella, who seems in worse shape than when I last saw her

"I'm leaving for Ellis today, so no training for me~~"

of course, she would be happy, but that was the least right now,

she definitely needed to leave, since she is part demon she needs to bask in the Ellis moon to reguvinate her Lunar energy, if she was Celestian she wouldn't need to go, all the Celestials had to do was literally stand in the sun for long periods of time,

she was demon, however, and although the moon could help, in her case, you could tell she hadn't been to Ellis in a long time and needed the atmosphere

"Well, don't let me stop you. You look horrible..."

she stared at me in disbelief for a second before pretending to cry,

"What has happened to you? Where has my timid Phillip from two weeks ago?"

I smirk at her and turn away to continue on my way

"You made him quite comfortable, so he no longer needs to pretend~~"

I hear an obnoxious snort as I make my way to the now empty field,

I saw some soldiers try to climb the large tree with difficulty while the king patiently watched,

he had a visible frown on his face that intensified when three soldiers fell,

"Is this the best you can do?" his voice was flat at first, but as he went on, the anger took over

"When the time comes, your opponents won't waste time taking you down. How can you take a breather at this moment!?, get your arse back up the damned tree! You have no time to waste!"

I was only close enough to see him but not enough for him to see me, so as I was about to retreat back into the palace one of the soldiers glanced at me which caught the Kings attantion,

  Aw, why me? -_-

The kings enraged expression relaxed a little as he spoke

"Hello Phillip, have you come to watch the new soldiers train?"

they were new? Wow, poor them,

I shyly looked at him, I have only spoke to him once after meeting him, and it was to recount my life experience in detail,

every time I saw him, whether it be in the halls or at dinner, he had a stiff expression on his face,

I realized now that I pay a lot of attention to him. It's almost as if I am... obsessed?

"Oh hello, your majesty, I came out of curiosity...if you don't mind?"

I bow slightly out of respect, as I was taught by Maxime, and King Leon just stares for a moment before blinking rapidly,

"oh!, of course, you can watch"

I see him smile slightly for the first time in weeks, and I walk to his side

  "Thank you, Your Highness,"
