Lila Coratell, a 16 year old girl, is moving into a new town due to a new job opportunity for her father. She's not very excited about it she claims "all my friends are going to stop messaging me and forget about me,". Her mother left not so long ago, she had just left in the middle of the night without telling anyone. Lila knew that because she had woke up that night and asked her mother where she was going at this time at night and she had not said a word. Lila was devasted after she found out she had left for good. She figured it was because of a fight between her parents, she didn't blame her dad though it wasn't his fault her mom got up and just left. And when she found out her mom moved on and had a new family, that's when she finally moved on as well. Now she's moving into this small town and this is something she does blame her dad for.
