Branzy's POV
I was in the office, waiting for my boss to give me a case. I was bored outta my mind, i haven't gotten a case ever since last week! And last week I got only one case, probably because there aren't much going in at the moment. I just wish for a quick or at least a case.

"Branzy!" I heard, but it was very faint. I went to check if my boss had called me. I made my way to their office. "Yes, Rek?" I say,
"huh? What it is?"
"I though you called me?" I asked.
"No? I didn't? I was getting a case ready for you. And your new partner."
"But.. I heard my name?"
"I don't know, could be your imagination. Also please don't call me my name on the job.."
"Ok then, and fine, boss." I said, rolling my eyes at him
"Now, could I have my case, if it's ready at least?" I ask
"Yup! Here ya go. And your new partner is outside. In the parking lot. I suggest you meet him." Rek said,
"Alright, thank you boss." I said, heading out to meet my new partner. I saw a tall person, but they had a type of mask on..A clown mask? They see me staring and wave hello. I wave back, making my way towards him yet again. I look at the inside of the vehicle, and see all type of equipment. I then say,
"Hello. My names Branzy, and your name is?"
"Well hello Branzy, my names clown. Will you be my partner from now on?" He asks,
"Yep, it's quite obvious, now let's get this done!" I make my way to the passenger side, and hop in. He starts the engine and we make our way to the house.

After a while of driving, which was about a 30 minute drive, we made it. We started getting the stuff we needed out of the back of the car, we made our way to the front of the building, and tried to open the door. And, it wouldn't budge.

We tried to open it again, and it wouldn't open. So we decided to call the owners of the property, to ask if there were any spare keys around. They wouldn't answer, so we continued to call them. After 10 or so minutes of trying to call them, we gave up and decided to wait for them to call us back.

I sit down on the porch, and Clown leans on the wall of the porch. I sigh, not wanting to wait out in the cold. It's winter, yet the only thing I brought was a sweater, thin mittens, and jeans. I sighed, feeling the cold coming towards me. I felt someone right next to me. I looked and saw clown, getting close to me.

I wonder why.. I decide to ignore it. I lean into his warmth tho, not wanting to basically freeze outside, I slowly but surely start to grow more comfortable, he was very warm, and I couldn't help but just lean into him. I then heard my phone buzz in my pocket, I turned grabbing my phone.

"Hello?" I asked, focusing on the call. "Hello, are you the person that was supposed to investigate our property?" The woman over the speaker said, "uh, yes we are, do you by chance know any other way of getting in? The door is locked and we can't find another way in." I heard a hum, then I hear her say, "yes, we left a key next to the flower plant. Just lift it up and grab the key."

I nodded, "thank you!" The woman said no problem and hung up, glad that's over. I turned to my partner, clown, and leaned in, more closer. "Hey, the woman said that there's a key under the plant, could you maybe lift it up and I grab the key..?" He raised his eyebrow and nodded, getting up and making his way to the pot. Lifting it up. I saw the key and picked it up.

I nodded, and he dropped the pot back in its position, I missed his warmth, I made my way to the door, putting the key in and unlocking the door, we then turned back, heading for the equipment we needed, I groaned, even though I wanted this, I was tired, yet I proceeded. We carried the stuff, to the door, him standing close to me, and I just wanted to lean into him. We made it in there, it seemed colder in here then outside. Weird
