---Why five?"
"Five letters in your name, Simon."
"Five times you asked before i said yes"
"Five flowers you brought to our first date"
"Five minutes before we both died in the flame""I'll look for you in five million lifetimes, my love"
-
"Simon?"
-"Your eyes"
Your damn beautiful ocean eyes, how could I ever miss it.
"Pardon?" He looked at you puzzled, trying to find whoever said his name. Is it this stranger?
I'm a stranger.
"Excuse me are you-" he asked, double checking if he was the one I was calling for, or perhaps he misheard.
He looked at your eyes, glassy and full of nothingness, yet its indescribable emotions can be read from your pupils alone.
The way you breathe made him feel something, you muttered something he quite did not get a hold of.
You smiled.
"My Simon" You said his name full of love, but you're the only one who thought of it that way.
"I know I'll find you again"
You always do, even if the heaven fell in the depths of hell. Nothing can stop you from finding him, even if torn into pieces you'll always find a way to stick it all together in order to feel his presence again.
But again, we are strangers.
"I'm sorry, do I know you?" He said in a confused tone, does he actually know you? He sensed a smell of familiarity, it stings. he felt it in his heart.
He knew you, more than anyone else. More than yourself.
But not here, not in this life.
At least not yet.
"Oh- no, I'm sorry I just.. mistaken you for somebody else" You smiled faintly.
Your smile, it clicked something for him. Your smile punched him like a sun hitting nostalgia.
What am I feeling? He asked himself.
I feel like I know this person. He thought to himself.
"Are you sure we haven't met?"
"Um, not that I know of." You spoke up.
You were both having a conversation, It added Verisimilitude to your present.
At last, he's in front of you.
You deserve it. You waited.
Lifetimes after lifetimes.
Death after death.
You found him now. Your sun, your moon and the only star in your universe is here.
"Well that's strange" he chuckled
"You just have these beautiful eyes, has anyone ever told you that?"
He's not just some paracosm you made up in your mind. You crossed storms and wars.
"No- I don't think anyone-"
"Actually" he paused and looked at me straightly as if we were the only ones left in the world, "There's this one person I can't quite remember, but somehow feel their presence"
His words brought a smile to your face.
He does remember after all.
"Well that person is telling the truth."
"I hope so."
"I know so."
Heaven and hell were both created parallel from each other, they coexist but never touch.
But we made it possible.
My love remembering you is both a blessing and a curse.
I must endure thinking back on the life we had to give up and the memories of us leaving. However, I am most content to keep you in the back of my mind.
In the deepest part of my heart, i will always remember, in every universe i will always know.
Just like you said, we'll meet again and make up for what he have lost.
In every lifetime, i'll always have you.
"My Simon."
