A/O/B
Only ability users are Alpha, Omega or a beta. A non-ability user is a normal human. They discover their A/O/B status around 6-7, however ruts and heats don't start until 13, although it is possible for a heat to start as early as 9 if they have been given hormone pills or being sexually active, but this is very rare.
Mates are unable to hurt each other. Their instincts make them unable to hurt each other. When omega are pregnant their scent changes into a honey sweet scent. If an Omega wishes for people to not know they are pregnant they can use a scent blocker, which blocks the honey sweet scent and the omega just smells the same as usual.
Alpha are at the top of the hierarchy. And are the most common. They go through a rut every 3 months. They have a musky smell to their pheromones. They cannot take any suppressants to stop their ruts. There are only two options: one; lock themselves in their rooms and wait it out and two: they knot a Omega. Female alpha have both genitals and can get omega males pregnant. Alpha can get very protective of their omega especially if they get sick. During heat Alpha doesn't allow any other alpha in the house. Alpha pheromones do not have any effect on omega siblings and have some effect on alpha siblings, it can calm them down if necessary.
Omega are next in the hierarchy. They go through heat every two months. Omega can use suppressants to stop their heat but as a side effect damages their bodies and makes them weak and sometimes can cause sicknesses. Once they stop using the suppressants, they immediately go into heat and have quite an intense heat. Symptoms include, in pre-heat: sleeping a lot, craving for food and water, and nesting will take place, usually with blankets or clothes that smell like their Alpha if they have one, or something that smells of their crush, the one they wish to be with, and they'll usually hug something that belongs to them. During their heat their symptoms will be getting a fever, mild cramping, increased slick, lack of appetite, muscle soreness, loss of control and sexual desperation. They are quite common. Their pheromones have a floral or spice smell. Omega males have both genitals and can get pregnant. Omega also takes a birth control pill which they take during their pre-heat, it works through their full heat. Another way that can help them through their heat if they don't want to be knotted, see another omega who they trust. Their pheromones can help calm down an omega. Also their pheromones do not affect alpha siblings but can calm down an omega's siblings. Although it is not common, depending on the ability of an Omega some have animal ears and tail which appear during intercourse.
Beta are the most rare and are hardly ever seen around. Not much is known about them. All that is known is that they are immune to alpha and Omega pheromones. They can only soul bond with another beta and their children are usually normal humans. A Beta's scent reminds someone of a season. They are sometimes used by Omega and Alphas to help satisfy them. Beta however can only be impregnated by another beta. And mostly all beta children end up as beta (if they have a gift) or normal humans.
There are three types of bonds: Soul bonds, half bonds and normal bonds.
A soul bond is when an Alpha and Omega bite each other marking them, which takes the form of a mark somewhere on their body, taking them to be their mate, and can't be undone. In the process their very existence and soul is intertwined with the other. One person can have only one soul bond in their entire life. With their souls intertwined the Alpha can sense their Omega's presence at all times and can tell through the bond their emotions and if they are in danger. Through the bond the mere presence of their alpha calms them and they too can sense their alpha's emotions through the bond. Also once they are soul bonded only their mated pair can smell their pheromones scent. With a soul bond Alpha cannot take an Omega away. Alpha and omega children will either be Alpha, Omega of Beta. In the first litter the omega usually has twins or triplets, then litters are usually twins or a single child. If a pair does get their bond then it's extremely dangerous time for an Alpha for 24 hours after the bond is intact. The Alpha will want to break in the new bond. It is possible for a another Alpha to come and claim the Omega before the bond has time to settle down.
A half bond is when an alpha marks the omega, but the omega hasn't marked them back. And this bonding mark is temporary. It only lasts till the next time the omega goes into heat. The temporary bond protects the omega from other Alpha as it covers the omega's scent with the alpha's, as if they were soul bonded. Though the half bond the alpha may scent the omega multiple times to keep their scent from wearing off too quickly.
A normal bond is an alpha and Omega who don't have a soul bond as they haven't marked each other, but have had sex and knotted. If not marked by their Alpha another Alpha may come along and take them away.
Ability category groups.
Special Abilities and genetic-characteristic abilities.
Special Abilities are abilities that are special to that person.
Genetic-characteristic abilities are abilities that have been passed down through family blood and genes.
Each Ability user is out into a category fitting their ability. And put into sub categories. Also a letter is put in front of their number, which tells people just how powerful they really are.
A, B, C, D,- are powerful, giving A class being the most powerful. Most ability users in these categories are Alpha, although it's not impossible that an omega can be in these classes. Most attack abilities are included here. An example is Chuuya and Precious who are in class A. Ryūnosuke and Atsushi are included here in class B.
E, F, G, H, I, J- Are the next powerful. Most of the low class, weaker Alpha are in these classes, although Powerful Omega are also in this category. Kyouka, and Kenji are here, along with Yosano.
K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R- The most powerful Omega are in these categories. Although it's not impossible that an Alpha can be in these categories. Most defensive Abilities can be found here. An example is Dazai who is in class O.
S, T, U, V, W, X- The weakest of all ability users are in these categories.
Y, Z- are the categories for those who have abilities but no one knows what their Abilities are. For example: Fyodor Dostoevsky, Gin Akutagawa, Ichiyō Higuchi are in these categories as well as Prince.
Other information:
There are three types of reapers.
White reaper: they are the ones who force people to commit suicide without even touching them.
Archangel: another name for an Angel of death.
Black reaper: the most dangerous of all. They are given his title when their body count is well over 1,000.
