A BEEPING NOISE blasted throughout the messy room, the red light flashing every two seconds until a shirt was thrown over top of it. I grumbled and shoved my face in the pillows before the alarm started beeping again. Reaching my hand out and grabbing something off the floor, I tossed a shoe angrily and rolled over.

BEEP BEEP BEEP

A lamp smashed into the alarm, forcing it off the table and getting tangled in the cable, officially turning it off and leaving me to smile at the silence. I let out a few snores finally falling back asleep and to that amazing dream I was having few minutes prior.

BEEP BEEP BE

I rolled out off bed angrily and shot a web to the alarm, yelling as I threw it out the open window. The banging of it hitting the rails on the side of the building until it was finally silent. I huffed and stared into nothing for a few seconds before I let myself fall back onto the bed.

Finally.

Silence.

...

"Figliolo, è meglio che tu sia fuori da quel letto e pronto per la scuola!" A women shouted outside my door aka my lovely mother who was hitting the wood quite aggressively.

(Son, you better be out of that bed and ready for school!)

"I've been up since six in the morning, mamma!" I shouted back with closed eyes and let my head fall back to my warm pillow. "Eh? Ore? Sage, if I come in there and you're still in bed!—" (Hours?)

"I'm already up and dressed, don't worry." I rolled off and landed on the floor with a thud. My foot was tangled on the sheet and I grunted, trying to kick it off whilst hearing my mum sigh before her footsteps walked away.

"Come get breakfast then! Your dads about to leave!"

"Mhm...I'm coming." Rubbing my forehead and finally getting free from the sheets to push myself up and wobble to my bathroom.

It was relatively simple and clean but every day mum would check to make sure I wasn't making a grub of myself. Which I wasn't. I'm a very clean person, just not when it comes to clothing because I can never find the right outfit and somehow all my clean washing ends in a pile at the door.

I brushed my teeth and washed my face to get rid of any grime or dirt from yesterday. Also changing my nose piercing into a new gem that dad got me recently.

If you hadn't already caught on, I was Spider-man. The city's one and only hero or saviour as some people may call me. About three years ago I was bitten by a radioactive spider that gave me my powers and you know the rest.

The crime in Brooklyn wasn't awful, I'm not saying it was good either I mean crime is bad no matter what but it's manageable. To an extent.

I try my hardest though that's what matters and I'm glad to have the job, isa pretty freaking awesome job unlike my friend Stacy who works at Maccas. She gives me free food though so I can't complain.

Fetching my uniform off the floor, I hurriedly put it on and I went back into my bedroom slipping my shirt on and zipping up my pants. This Spider-man gig relatively built up my muscle and overall fitness which I also can't complain about but that meant I went up in size so my mum wasn't very happy about that. Buying new clothes and all.

At least I'm fit.

Unlike Gwen.

Another loud knock came from my door and I yelled back 'Yeah?' Midway trying to stuff my laptop in my bag. "Come on, Sage! I have to be on time for work so get your breakfast and meet me at the door."

I hummed a tune and grabbed my tie to hold it in my mouth and went over to pull the door open, but I quickly stopped and went to my closet to dig out my suit and shoved it in the bag as well.

Walking to the kitchen, I searched around for my shoes, mum rolling her eyes at my dishevelled state and came over to yank the tie to properly put it on.

"Mio dio, sei sveglio per ore e hai questo aspetto? Learn to tie a tie as well." She grumbled and I smiled at her, leaning over to grab the containers of breakfast and putting them in my bag.

(My god, up for hours and you look like this?)

"I won't always be around you know." Speaking in a matter of fact tone while I rolled my eyes, sitting down to tie my shoes.

"I know mamma. I'll learn to tie it one day."

"One day? Or never?"

Pursing my lips at her, I gave a cheeky grin and kissed her cheek goodbye. "I think the latter. See you later."

Walking to the door and grabbing my phone before mum grabs my blazer and chucks it, I lift my hand up to catch it blindly. Dad was at the door with a frown and he scoffed at seeing my state.

Seems like everyone just cares about what I look like, huh?

"Fix yourself up in the car, mate. You're not getting a lover looking like that." The pair of us waking out the apartment and I watched him lock the door with a raised brow.

"If you pulled mum looking like you do, then I can get a boyfriend." Waving my hands and walking away with a grin.

Even though I do already have one.

"Oh? You think you're funny, huh?"

"I'm a bloody comedian so don't make me doubt my skill and laugh."

"You're not funny."

"Admit it. You're just tragic."
